Works with my 19 year-old SONY Bravia TV !
Setup was very easy for me. Bluetooth connectivity great with sound from my 1984 iPad and HP computer (great range). The optical connection has a signal (red light from the TV) but, because of the age of the TV and configuration of the optical, the signal just produces noise as there are no choices on the TV menu for optical only or pass thru.SONY products always come with multiple in and out ports so the AUX works GREAT with the sound bar.I leave the sound on from the TV speakers and get a very nice slight ECHO effect which I like.Almost like a theater mode.Best of all I get a good range of TREBLE and the BASE sound from the sound bar is what I enjoy the most.Playing music from my TV connected to Amazon Fire Stick and Smooth Jazz from iHeart Radio (& switching the Bravia’s picture to the power saveing mode (blank picture)) I have a whole new entertainment system !Good going Assistrust !!EDIT: Additional commentI omitted an important option for the setup…the ability to join the left and right speakers for horizontal use..OR.. using the left and right speakers separated and standing vertical.For me, that vertical separation and use was a GAMECHANGER !Really good separation of the stereo sound!!!

OMG! WHAT AMAZING QUALITY AND VALUE… BOTH!I ordered this sound-bar this morning and it arrived SAME day just a few hours later.. I’m already using it. Fantastic sound quality! Perfect size! Exceptional versatility with choice of stereo vertical pillars or single horizontal bar. Inputs HDMI, optical, analog, or even bluetooth which was a surprise. I’m even playing it from my phone. Build quality is VERY solid… great looking unit too. Includes remote control. I’m blown away… I will be buying several more of these. WOW.. you won’t be disappointed.UPDATE: Bluetooth sound quality is superb, however the unit connects to my TV bluetooth transmitter using the standard “SBC” (default bluetooth codec) This causes typical latency (specs say around 220ms). There is a new 5.3 version of this same sound-bar, but it’s unclear if it uses the lower latency codecs, which is beneficial for TV. We’ll see… I leave my review at 5-STARS because the unit sounds GREAT.. and performs as designed.

Solid for price
You reallyCan not beat this price. Unit comes with stereo cable, digital audio cable, and hdmi. Unit is capable of earc. Paired with Samsung and Apple TV streaming YouTube tv. Sound is loud and kind of unbalanced. Totally maxed out the volume it it was actually fine. This unit will be used in a small dorm or bedroom setting. Low volume and you can hear dialogue fine. Impressed buy the heft and how solid the speakers are. I actually love the idea of seperating the speakers. It was too long for my purpose. I do not have. The tv on a console. My main complaints. Remote didnât come with batteries. The power brick is huge. Glaring red circle for standby and a warning orange light when using hdmi. I had to trouble shoot this unit with my setup. YouTube tv. 1. Huge delay in sound and didnât sync. Samsung let me increase it to max of 250. Fixed. 2. YouTube tv. When changing the channel. Sound stopped. It comes back when either switching out of YouTube tv or shutting system down. Fixed by going to Apple TV audio setting and changing audio format to stereo. Take it off Dolby 5.1. Fixed the issue. I was seriously about to return this unit. Overall Iâm actually quite pleased for an affordable unit and itâs actually quite solid.

This is a really nice set up!I love that you can have the bar either long ways or standing up on two side sides of the TV!!!I canât believe how nice it is for the price. Iâm very happy.!! The sound quality is excellent. The volume is high connecting. It was very easy and the remote controls are easy to use.

Good performance and great styling for this price point.
Good sound for this price point — crisp midrange sound brings voices out — especially useful for older folks, or fans of foreign language films. More than enough volume, and effective audio leveling function. (I have one source that is about 10db lower than the others, and I can’t adjust it. This function helps keep the volume between inputs closer to one another. Bluetooth function paired easily to my phone.

Aux doesnât work, eq presets are trash.
3 Stars, itâs a decent soundbar. It does what it was made for which is why iâm not giving it 1 star. The arc option doesnât work with gaming consoles because the soundbar only has 1 hdmi port. The aux option doesnât work at all it just makes really high pitched glitching sounds and I donât get any audio from my monitor to my soundbar at all. Youâre not able to use this soundbar with consoles due to it only having 1 hdmi port and consoles donât bluetooth to tech not authorized by that console. Doesnât work on monitors either because most monitors donât have an optical, optical and bluetooth is really the only option you have with this soundbar because everything else doesnât work. The equalizer settings are trash, having it on the movie setting adds a split second delay between the 2 bars. Itâs highly noticeable. The music option is terrible for movies because you hear more background sound over voices same with the news option. The news option sounds like they are talking into a tin can haha. Wouldnât recommend this soundbar unless youâre gonna use it for the bluetooth option. If not i suggest finding a better soundbar for a higher price which would be worth your time. This is trash lol

Very disappointed with this purchase. The sound bar I received seems to be old and used. There are scratches on the back side, and it looks like a repacked product instead of new. The delivery also took more than a week,Not satisfied at all.
