Customers say

Customers report that the battery cartridge returns their UPS to full functionality and is super easy to install. Moreover, the replacement fits perfectly, particularly in the Cyberpower LX1325G model. However, the battery life and charging performance receive mixed reviews – while some report it lasting up to 4 years, others say it fails within 2 months, and one customer notes it maxes out at 70% charge. The value for money is also mixed, with some finding it worth the cost while others consider it pricey.

Exactly what I was looking for!
I bought 1 of these and used it to replace the battery in my CyberPower unit. It was easy to do and now it works great once again. This saves a lot of money to just replace the batteries rather than buying a whole new unit.I used to use APC brand battery backup and AVR units, but then I realized they are pretty much a scam. With APC, you buy an expensive unit, it comes with the battery. Then 3 or 4 years down the road, the battery starts failing as you might expect. But with 2 different APC units I’ve had, I went on their site to buy a replacement battery, and it wasn’t in stock. It appeared to be discontinued. Then I started looking up batteries for other APC units and realized that they seemingly only stocked batteries for the latest units. None of the ones for older units… you know, the ones where you would actually need a replacement. However, they offered a seemingly large discount on buying an entirely new battery backup unit, but only if you bought it off their site at their super-inflated regular price. With the discount on their regular price, it brought the price down to about what you expect off amazon or best buy or whatever. In other words, the discount was worthless. So at the end of all this, I concluded that the APC units were a scam that you wouldn’t discover until many years down the road. That was about 11 years ago when I came to that final conclusion. Since then, I’ve stuck with CyberPower because they keep the same models of backup units in service for a very long time. The unit I bought 10 years ago (the one that takes THIS battery) is still sold on Amazon for example. And getting genuine replacement batteries for them is easy and not a ripoff. In conclusion, APC lost me as a customer 10+ years ago, and I’m not going back. It was a no-brainer to switch to any unit that didn’t pull these shenanigans. So I started using CyberPower units and haven’t ever regretted it. Maybe APC has changed their philosophy since then? But I’m not going to look into that matter because… who cares…

Fit and perform like OEM because they are OEM
My cyberpower UPS (CP1500AVRLCD ser.# starting CPA) stopped working due to suspected battery failure (over 5 years old). I considered a generic battery, and I have used them on other UPS’ in the past, but decided to spend the extra on a quality OEM replacement. Per instructions, I removed the old battery, installed the replacement. It fit perfectly, no fiddling with the batteries to stick together, the replacement had the same wiring harness as the original and the replacement fit perfectly. The UPS is functional again. Very happy.FWIW, I checked and one of the old batteries reads 13.4 volts sitting, but any load and and it drops to 0 volts. The other battery is useable, but likely has reduced capacity. So if your Cyberpower UPS is not working, it is likely to be old batteries. The OEM replacement are easy to use, and known quality. I expect another 5 years from these. The replacement is easy. Remove one screw, slide the front panel down to open the front. Unplug the red and black wires (They are polarized, so you can’t hook up backwards). SLide the old battery pack out, slide the new one in. reconnect the wires. Replace the front panel, install the screw. Voila’, functioning UPS.

Easy replacement and I am counting on good life from these cells.
Easy to replace the old battery, as these cells were already wired together. Some of the less expensive replacement batteries are not. I decided to spend more on these batteries since I experienced short life on some non-OEM computer batteries in the past. Well packed — double boxed. The leads could be a tad bit longer.

    Perfect fit & easy replacement
This was my second order of the same battery. I originally ordered from a marketplace vendor, but cancelled after one week as the battery was never shipped. I reordered through Amazon Prime, and received my battery in 2 days fulfilled by Amazon. This is a new replacement for my CP1500 LCD intelligent UPS system. The UPS actually takes 2 batteries connected to each other with piece of plastic conduit with connectors. These replacements come assembled and connected. It was a 10 minute easy job to remove the cover of the UPS, disconnect the leads, slide out the old battery, slide in the number battery, and reconnect the leads. One of the leads required a little extra push to insert fully. Overall, the UPS now provides many more hours of operation. I advise against the purchase of generic replacement batteries for three reasons. First, you’ll have to recycle the plastic connector piece from the old batter pack, as the replacements usually come as 2 individual batteries. This is not the deal breaker. The second reason is that the generic batteries may not hold up as long. I haven’t done a study, but my experience with cheap generics is that they last perhaps half as long. Third, after all of the problems with Samsung phone batteries exploding, I’m nervous about quality of batteries in general, especially generics. I’ve only had these for one week, so I cannot comment on how long they’ll hold up.

Of course these are just generic 12v batteires taped together, and you can buy them a bit cheaper if you want to use some of your own tape.BUT, for a few dollars extra cost, I wanted the better warranty, and far simpler plug and play installation.I was even plesantly surprised to see the batteries are 9 a/h and not just 8 a/h as the original batteries and most generic repalcements areAnd it did restore my UPS to like new condition after it started beeping and shutting down on it’s own.

Others have commented that it is cheaper to get a couple of knockoffs and assemble them using the original tape and wire harness. With the shipping differences, I took perhaps a $40 hit by buying these. Amortized over their lifespan, I’m good with that. Having OEM CyperPower batteries rather than knockoffs may or may not be better but my time has value.Interestingly, the UPS didn’t have CyberPower batteries when new so technically this was an upgrade.

It’s half the price of a new UPS and surprisingly, only takes a few minutes to replace. You could get get 2 separate batteries instead of this one which comes pre-assembled (because it’s cheaper if you assemble it yourself if you also have the middle connector) but this way it’s just much less hassle.
