Has a ton of quality of life features!
These are one of those products that makes you go “why doesn’t anyone else do this”?First off, the 45 degree(ish) angle that the outlets are at. Since a lot of outlet adapter plugs can be plugged in upside down, the angle of the outlet helps considerably for semi-tight spaces. While also still having room to turn the individual outlets on and off. The width spacing is also considerably large so those beefy power bricks won’t overlap/block-off other outlets.Secondly, the prior-mentioned outlet on and off switches. Each individual AC outlet has its own on/off switch. So if I have a lamp that always needs to be plugged in, I can leave that on.If I have a USB C adapter brick to charge my phone, I can turn that off when its not in use. Without needing to turn off the lamp’s outlet in the process.Thirdly, the always on USB A (the rectangular USB outlets), and the USB C ports to the top side of the outlet. Please note that the USB C ports are about 20 watts. So while it can TECHNICALLY charge a laptop, its best used to passively charge a laptop when it isn’t being used. Not while actively using a laptop. Since even moderately efficient laptops can draw watts well into the 40’s range. That aside, when used within their intended watt ranges, they’re extremely convenient to have in addition to everything else.I generally use them to charge things like power banks. Possibly low powered USB C devices like a Nintendo Switch or even a GPD microPC which draws 15 or so watts while in use.So while the ports aren’t the highest in terms of watts, there’s times of many where I didn’t care how many watts a port had, I just needed a USB port period.Fourth wise, the safety protections. If you somehow manage to overload this outlet, it can cut off its own power. It can be “reset” by pressing the red button to the side.Fifthly, the actual plug to plug the power outlet into a wall or in my case a UPS machine, is insanely flat. With the cord being at a 45 or so degree angle. So even if its on a top outlet, it probably won’t block off most plugs from using the bottom outlet.Sixth and finally (at least from what I remember off the top of my head ð), the wire that connects the power outlet to your power source is really flat and easy to manage. All of these traits makes it one of the least contentious things anybody can buy. Its just a straight up quality of life improvement. If I ever need more power outlets, I know which one to double dip on!

Excellent Power Strip for Convenient Charging Options
I recently purchased the HOPOW Flat Plug Power Strip for my son’s desk, and it has been an excellent addition to his workspace. This power strip offers a range of convenient features that have greatly impressed me.First and foremost, the inclusion of USB A and USB C charging options is a game-changer. It’s incredibly convenient to have both options readily accessible on the top of the power strip rather than tucked away on the side. This design choice ensures easy and quick charging for various devices without any hassle. One aspect that sets this power strip apart is the individual switches with LEDs for each plug. These switches provide an added level of control, allowing me to turn off specific devices when not in use without affecting others. The LEDs also serve as handy indicators, making it easy to identify which devices are powered on at a glance. In terms of build quality, the HOPOW Flat Plug Power Strip has truly impressed me. It feels solid and durable, giving me confidence that it will withstand regular use. The flat plug design is a clever addition, as it allows the power strip to sit flush against the wall, saving valuable space on my son’s desk.Overall, I am extremely pleased with my purchase of the HOPOW Flat Plug Power Strip. Its convenient USB charging options, easily accessible plugs, individual switches with LEDs, and impressive build quality have made it an invaluable asset for my son’s desk. I highly recommend this power strip to anyone in need of a reliable and user-friendly charging solution.

Almost Great, and I’m Keeping it!
This outlet was almost perfect for my use for computer desk setup! There are five light switches that are bright, but not annoyingly bright, which was great that it did not create eye distraction but noticeable when on or off. Its also a very tight fitting to the prongs, which is reassuring once its in, its not going anywhere easily. The ten foot cord is conveniently the perfect length that you don’t find on most outlets. The cord is on the thin side, and wish I was thicker, but if you plan to run it across the room, its flat design allows it to be hidden under a rug or matt with little surface appearance. As for the USB A and USB C ports, they both charge at different rates. The USB A port is a normal charging speed, and the USB C ports are Fast Charging, NOT Super Fast. For it to be a Super Fast Charging port it would have to produce more than 20W, typically 30 and 45 watts. As for the Red button on the ends, I don’t know what it is for, but was not able to press it so maybe its a power surge reset button. It’s plastic material is on the cheaper end, as you can feel it and hear the high plastic pitch it makes because of its thickness. I wouldn’t put it in a high drop area as it could crack the plastic. There is the twist tight mount it comes with that can be removed or turned around for your use. Important to note that the twist mount does not run flush with the outlet resulting in an uneven surface which will rock when plugging and unplugging. Overall great find for around $25, and I will be keeping it for my use.
