These speakers are pretty decent for the price I’d say. These are my first set of bookshelf speakers, so I understand I can’t make a direct comparison. They are replacing a set of Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 that went bad. Those Klipsch speakers were honestly world’s better, better sound quality, louder, and much more bass with the sub. These bookshelf speakers are not nearly as loud as I expected them to be for their size. But, they are pretty decent and they suit my current needs just fine. And they were a good price. Plus they look great, I like the style of them.

These are…meh, but better than laptop speakers.
I purchased these not really knowing what to expect, but hoped for the best. It’s worth mentioning that I live in a top floor unit in a modern apt building with neighbors underneath so listening at upper volume levels was never a priority.The left speaker had a weird rattle when listening to at medium volume with the bass set at 1 out of 4, treble turned to 2 out of 4. I have zoom / teams call so this was especially noticeable with voices. After about 1 week, I returned them for a replacement. Thankfully, the replacement didn’t have an annoying rattle.I’ve been using the replacement for about 2.5 weeks now and the sound quality is a 6 out 10 at best. The bass is very unimpressive so turning the levels down is recommended.Get these only if you want something temporary until you save up enough to get something better. They are sufficient if you just want something better than your laptop speakers, but don’t expect great sound coming from these. I will be getting something better around black friday, and these will go back in the box and stored away / resold for $30-40 on eBay.
