Customers say

Customers find the monitor stand sturdy and excellent in quality, with straightforward assembly and good functionality. The tilt adjustment receives mixed feedback – while some customers can tilt it to perfection, others find it impossible to adjust. Moreover, the monitor positioning and height adjustment also get mixed reviews, with customers noting that it stays in place but has limited upper height. Additionally, the stand is quite heavy and not suitable for heavier monitors.

Excellent Monitor Stand (well worth the higher cost)
This simply is a quality monitor stand. Good design, heavy duty materials, with excellent fit and finish. It’s more of an investment than the $20 – $30 range stands, but it’s in a whole different class. IMO, well worth the additional cost.I’m using this with a 27″ video conferencing monitor.Assembly was very straight forward. They recommend having assistance, but I was able to do it solo with no problem. All of the tools (2 allen wrenches) except a #2 phillips screwdriver were included. By adjusting the angle of the mounting bracket, you can slide the monitor mount into the top screw slots, tighten them, and then add the bottom screws. After reading the many comments about the weight adjustment screw’s being way off, I cranked it way down (clockwise) MANY turns before trying to mount the monitor (until it felt about right). No further adjustment was necessary. This adjustment is pretty stiff, so be prepared to put a little effort into it.Note than the screen can be rotated (landscape to portrait), but you need to remove the screw locking it in place.Check the specs to be sure the height range will meet your needs, and if so, I believe you’ll be very pleased with this.

AWESOME STAND AT A GREAT PRICE
As a digital artist I needed a stand that could hold my drawing display monitor and adjust to various angles AND rotate from landscape to portrait mode. This stand does exactly that and it raises my monitor to a comfortable viewing height when used as a standard monitor. While reading reviews I had a hard time finding out if it does rotate. After assembling it and removing one screw, IT DOES IN FACT ROTATE FROM LANDSCAPE TO PORTRAIT MODE. I also appreciate the clean aesthetic. It is also solidly built out of metal, not plastic. Sturdy, easy to assemble, solid. Cannot rotate 90°
Claim is that the screen will rotate. Problem is that it only rotates a few degrees and not far enough for portrait mode — needs to rotate 90° for that. Since my Apple Studio Monitor supports both landscape and portrait modes, I need to return this — which is too bad.Otherwise, this is a great, sturdy, desktop-stand (no clamp needed) VESA mount with plenty of heft. You are highly unlikely to knock your monitor over accidentally. It’s easy to assemble and has a wide range of adjustment for the weight of the monitor. If it could support both portrait and landscape mode, I would give it 6 out of 5 stars but you have to chose one mode or the other in advance, darn it.

Bought for a Huion Kamvas 22″
READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. A lot of reviews under here clearly did not.It does turn 90 degrees but you have to take out a screw from the back. The instructions tell you this.It does support lighter monitors, but you have to crank the tension clockwise waaaay down. Way more than you’ll think necessary. Keep going, you will get it to work. This thing is pretty sturdy and works excellent for a drawing tablet. Goes as flat as I need it to to draw. If you have a standing desk on carpet it will wobble, but it’s not a deal breaker for me. Every monitor arm wobbles on a standing desk on carpet. Clamped-on arms wobble much more than this Vivo tabletop arm.

    Durable, Heavy Duty, Bulky.. but..
I like VIVO products for their quality, item is always as advertised or even better. This is a brand where you really get what you pay for. However, I am not sure what the deal is with this item but I lowered the arm as instructed but it would not stay down or lock in any position it kept rasing. Being a gas spring it had a lot of resistance. I ended up going to home Depot to buy a heavy duty zip tie down to hold it in place. Reason for 3 starts unfortunately.

    Best stand evar!!!
So my usage for this isn’t typical. I am a 3d asset developer and I bought it for a Wacom cintiq 16 that I use for my laptop. I have a cintiq 22 that sits in my office on a desk. But I needed something portable for my smaller one (I use the laptop and 16 in the living room or bedroom) I do also have the Wacom stand for it, but it’s limited in what it can do.So ofc I went straight to vivo. I have another of their mounts (one tricksy pole that holds a third monitor in my office)I was afraid when I got it that the arm wouldn’t stay down, but once I put the cintiq 16 on it, the weight holds it exactly where u put it with no screwing necessary. This stand has exceeded expectations. It’s very articulate, and raises it high enuff so I don’t have to crane over my cintiq 16 in the living room (I have a herniation and it saves my back a lot of pain) you can tilt it to perfection and turn it as you need. I did have to loosen the bolts to use it for the 16 (as it’s only 4 lbs) but it works perfectly when u get it in the right spot. I also bought a vivo quick release adapter (for this and the Wacom stand, so I could interchange them on the fly without having to unscrew and screw, which would wear down the screws and holes over time)The only drawback… the cintiq stand fits in my laptop bag, while this won’t. It’s still very lightweight portable, tho. Thats a small price to pay for something this awesome!

    I bought a 2nd one …. 🙁
The review below was for an older version of this product. The current version is not as good. The new version does not lift the monitor as high as the old one and when you try to rotate the monitor to portrait orientation the monitor hits the monitor base.—————————–This worked very well for me. The cables management could have been easier to put together, but after setting it up I doubt I will have to mess with the cables very often. I bought this so that I could have one of my monitors vertical. But I like it so much I am getting a second one so that I can adjust the height of my main (horizontal) monitor. The monitor position, tilt, and rotation on this mount adjusts with a little pressure from my hand but otherwise it stays where you put it. And the base is flat so you can put things on it, like your glasses that you are always loosing. Good sturdy product.

Works really well with Huion Kamvas pro 19 4K but you’ll need to unscrew the tension to the lowest position for this tablet and it’s not easy thing to do. You’ll only need to do it once so not a big problem. Also I’ve put some felt pads under the rubber legs so that I can easily move the base around the table.Push it back, put it upright and use it as second monitor or grab it to yourself, push tablet down and use it as drawing tablet.Weight and sturdiness is quite good. Minimum height is around 18 cm.

If you have a cintiq 16 and considering to buy this stand, read everything, you’ll thank me !So I have a dual monitor set up with a 16′ cintiq on the left and a 32′ monitor on the right, and this arm stand is just amazing and really does what I was expecting. There are very few tricky cons I’ll talk about but the stand was not originally made for a cintiq, so it’s expected. The good part is that I can just push and pull the whole stand in front of me or far from me whenever I need to do draw or if I just want it as a secondary monitor near my biggest one. When I’m using it for drawing, there is room under my cintiq, so I can fit my keyboard without any placement issue while drawing, compare to the original wacom stand.Since it has an arm, i can really adjust the angle and height of my cintiq with accuracy, and speaking of height I found it actually way better to have the possibility to pull the cintiq just in front of you so you can naturally keep a good posture while drawing, so no back problems ! On the top of that, it’s very sturdy and doesnt jiggle while you draw, you can also ajust the firmness however you like. Now for the bad stuff : The stand is very heavy so it’s not super convenient to move the whole thing everytime from close to far on the desk area, I’ll try to put some little metal stickers wheels under the stand to see if it can help with this. Then another problem is that the screws to fix the monitor on the VESA are way to long for a cintiq and you’ll damage and break your cintiq if you tighten the screws too much, the best solution for this would simply be to have the good size screws. But if you don’t have that and you are down to do a bit of DIY like I did, you can try to place a bunch of metal rings in the scew in the free space between the cintiq and the VESA, And I’ve also insert a square of 1 cm thick foam on the middle part, so the foam is compressed between the cintiq and the VESA, it adds some sturdiness and some shock absorbtion at the same time.
