The gold is very tight/strong
I got this for use with a vibration plate to direct the vibration to my upper body by holding them taunt. I could see it being used with a bar through the loops on either end, standing at the middle of the band to add resistance for a squat not a press as it is so tight for me at least. I got it because it was very stiff to be a “hold” not a “push for resistance” if that helps.

Gold Band Defect
I have purchased this brand name of resistant bands for years and swear by the gray ones. Even when a side of the gray band snaps⦠You can still use it long-term and by yourself time to order a new one. (I replaced the gray ones every year to year and a half because I work out every day)These GOLD ones I thought would be wonderful as they are more of an intense resistance. However, They must be using defective glue or ceiling device between the loops, because they do not snap while you’re using them. The glue opens up on the ends overnight and you find them laying on the floor. I thought it was a fluke the first time. I just used the second loop on the resistant band, and that one was laying on the floor the next day⦠I returned that one, and just exchanged it for this other gold one. In the first week, there is that gold band laying on the floor with its first loop splayed open. I highly recommend the gray ones! And I hope they fix the defect in the gold ones!

Broken Ankle Therapy
I purchased this product to help with strengthening a broken ankle. I have been to physical therapy for over 10 weeks now and it seems that the focus on my ankle has not been the direction even though my insurance is being charged weekly for exercising on workout equipment.It is tough trying to do these exercises but when I do it faithfully I do see a difference in my ankle. This is my only broken bone in my 53 years of life, and for my first broken bone, and I have to say this is the worst bone you could break as far as the mobility you lose.Still working with this product, but do see quite a difference.

These break easily.
I can understand if bands such as these break after a year or more of use, but I have found they have all broken within a couple of months, and the last band broke after a few weeks of use. That is the thickest band. They always break at the seam. Disappointed.

The band feels nice and strong but not elastic enough. It broke easily a two different spots.
