IMPACT REDUCTION | The Guardian Cap Football Helmet Cover is a padded, soft-shell layer that is worn on the outside of your hard-shell helmet to reduce impact of daily hits. Also pads blows to knees, abdomen and other body parts during inside run and position drills. DOES NOT INCLUDE HELMET & VISOR
ONE SIZE FITS ALL | These padded covers will fit all youth & adult football and lacrosse helmets. Guardian Caps Helmet Covers are used by youth, high school, college, and Pro teams to reduce the impact of blows during practice and games. The Cap does not affect the integrity of the helmet and is easy on and off, attaching to itself.
INSULATING COMFORT | The soft padding of the cap also reduces radiant heat up to 20° F, keeping players cooler during hot practices. This insulation also dampens sound waves and vibrations, removing the loud “crack” of the helmet during impact.
SMART DESIGN | Guardian Caps are made to slide off of each other. The fabric has a lower coefficient of friction than the polycarbonate helmet shells and does not grip when hit. The helmet pads are designed to move independently, shifting at impact to redirect energy. They also reduce wear and tear and preserve the paint and decals of the helmets, so they always look great on game days!

Let me paint a picture for you: my 15-year-old freshman struts onto the football field looking like a cross between a space marine and a sentient mushroom. Thatâs right â heâs rocking the Guardian Helmet Cap, and yeah, it looks a little goofy.BUT â and this is a big but â this thing is protecting the very same head that once got concussed from jumping on a pogo stick. A pogo stick. Not a game, not a scrimmage, not even a rogue tackle. Just pure, unfiltered adolescent chaos.So now? Weâre not taking any chances.ð« No more brain-bouncing.â Extra layer of padding on that precious dome.ð¯ Peace of mind for the parents watching from the bleachers, muttering prayers and chugging Gatorade out of stress.Sure, he might look like a Nerf ball doing linebacker drills.
