Love these ski helmet speakers!
Over the years, I’ve used wired airpods in my ski helmet and it is a pain in the butt dealing with the wire dangling, controlling the volume and pausing music or skipping songs, and trying to fit them under the helmet ear flaps. I didn’t trust my wireless airpods to not fall out and get lost on the slopes. Started researching wireless ski helmet speakers and came across these. They are much thinner than some of the competitor’s speakers.Arrived with over a 70% charge so I was able to test them out right away. These speakers work great. Love that they come in a carrying case to protect them. You charge up the case and the speakers charge when you put them in the case. This particular case doesn’t have a built in battery which isn’t a problem for me. I tried them on with my ski helmet and they easily fit into the built-in speaker pockets on my helmet. Volume is plenty loud while they are in the helmet pockets. I put my bulky ski mittens on and could easily pause the music or skip a song and control volume. The control buttons on the speakers are nice and large. I don’t have to try and find a sweet spot. I love how it’s just the one button. Hit it once to pause music so you can talk on the chair lift and then hit it once again to start up music. Hold the button down on the right speaker to raise the volume or hold the button on the left speaker to lower the volume. Couldn’t be simpler.

Better than my current ones
I have bluetooth helmet headphones that are connected so this is new to me. I was worried about set up and connectivity but it booted up and synced almost immediately. It’s super nice not having to fumble with the earpieces unlike my other ones.It is a bit bulky though. And battery life concerns me a little bit since they are separate. Hopefully they last for a days worth of riding, when winter arrives and I test it more, I’ll update this review.

OutdoorMaster MZ04m Ski Helmet Headphones : Dry Run, Solid 100
Itâs not quite glove season here, but I couldnât wait. I slipped on a pair, did a dry run with my ski gloves, and the controls passed with flying colorsâresponsive, intuitive, and glove-friendly just as promised. That big button isnât just a gimmick; itâs a game-changer.Sound That Speaks for ItselfEven without snow underfoot, the audio was rich and immersive. Crisp highs, warm lows, and no lagâjust clean, uninterrupted sound. Itâs like having a mini boombox tucked into your helmet.Glove Test: A+I tested every function with gloves onâplay, pause, volume, voice assistantâand it all worked seamlessly. No fumbling, no frustration. Just smooth control, even in bulky gear.Bonus Use: Sleep Sounds ApprovedBeyond the slopes, Iâve used these for sleep sounds too. Theyâre versatile, comfortable, and surprisingly soothing. A rugged headset that moonlights as a bedtime companion? Yes, please.Verdict: A StealFor the build, sound, and versatility, this headset is a solid 100. Whether you’re shredding powder or winding down for the night, itâs ready to ride.

Im pretty impressed with these little guys! I charged them up to give them a test go sans-elements and while they were a bit finicky to get connected to Bluetooth, once connected the speakers worked perfectly. The sound quality isnt the greatest, everyone in the house who tried my helmet on agreed that our various variety of ear buds/headphones do sound better in quality, but tin-y sound aside the same comment was made:wow, these sre actually pretty impressive! We used them for the rest of the night as portable speakers, placing one on either side of the table. They stayed on for several hours before quitting, im curious to see how they hold up in our -40*C winters. I absolutely would pay $90 for these, if you have an outdoorsy person in your life these would make an amazing gift!

My son tested these out since he’ll be the one using them for his outdoor trips. Out of the box they feel sturdy and fit well into his gear so he can use them. Setup was straight forward, easy to charge, easy to pair and the storage case works just fine. Controls are easy enough to use and it certainly helps get the job done.Sound quality is above average. The bass is decent and the treble is sharp, but it’s certainly not a headphone that you’ll be wanting to run to for listening to music all the time, but they are more comfortable than earbuds and they do pack a punch. There is some room for improvement and things I find odd… no way to turn them off right away, this means that the batteries will die faster than you want. I have a set of Beats earpods and I feel there was some lessons that could be learned here… would be great if you could charge the headphones by putting them in the case like BEATS, or at the very least, an option to turn them off when you are done rather than waiting for a while to have it automatically power off. It’s an odd choice I feel.Overall, you get good sound, long charge, nice storage pack, and great kit for outdoors, but there are just a few odd design choices.

This headphone feels so special, it is like earbuds, this means I need to have pockets in my helmet in order to use this headphone, otherwise, I wonât be able. This headphone comes with a charging case; so, I can recharge the headphone by putting it back in the case (no need for any power outlet). The setup of this headphone is easy, just turn on the Bluetooth and sync it. The quality of the audio is average, the control/operation is not too friendly though; there is no button to turn off the headphone, we will either have to wait 30 minutes or put it back in the case. This gadget is fun to have, but need to have special helmet to work with it! The material of this headphone feels reasonable but it is a little expensive.

I recently ordered the Outdoor Master Ski Helmet Headphones in preparation for the upcoming ski season, and they are fantastic. These true wireless Bluetooth headphones are designed to fit seamlessly inside any snowboard helmet, providing high quality sound without bulk or cables. The drop in HD speaker chip offers clear, crisp audio, which makes listening to music, podcasts, or GPS instructions really enjoyable while hitting the slopes. The built-in microphone enables hands free calls, which is especially useful when I need to communicate quickly without removing my helmet or taking out my phone. The headphones connect easily to my device, and the connection remains stable even in cold weather or among other wireless signals, ensuring uninterrupted music or call quality during critical moments on the mountain. The included storage case makes it easy to keep the headphones protected and portable, whether during travel or storage in your jacket pocket. The design is sleek and ergonomic, fitting comfortably inside the helmet without causing discomfort or pressure. I also noticed that the headphones are compatible with all audio-ready snowboard helmets, making them a versatile accessory for any winter sports enthusiast. The sound quality is surprisingly good for a helmet insert, rich bass, clear mids, and decent volume levels help me stay motivated and entertained during long runs or while waiting in line. The device is also easy to operate with simple controls for volume, track changes, and calls, which adds to its convenience.Iâm very satisfied with the Outdoor Master Ski Helmet Headphones. They enhance my skiing experience by providing quality audio directly inside my helmet, without wires or external speakers.
