Super fun game
Nintendo makes incredible family oriented games. Mario Kart 8 is getting long in the tooth, but it remains a frequently played game by our entire family. It is a fun, light hearted racing game for all ages. I like the digital version of Switch games as we travel and take our device with us. The cartridges are small an easy to misplace swapping them around, but having the game downloaded to the Switch is super convenient. You will not regret buy this or any of the Mario games, particularly if you have kids that play (or happen to have nostalgia going back to the SNES or N64 versions). You can also get a course expansion pack which ends up having so many courses you will never run out of fun new tracks to play.

The Pinnacle of Party Games – Mario Kart
Mario Kart has without a doubt been one of THE games to play whenever you let a friend come over. It’s been that way since Super Mario Kart, it’s been that way since Mario Kart 64, since Double Dash, especially since Mario Kart Wii, Mario Kart 8, and now with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.It’s pure fun the same way it was on previous systems, but it’s emphasized more with this entry with the added multiplayer modes and joycons that make it very easy to play co-op with anyone. This is an experience you can’t really find in a lot of games, because most games have a focus on single-player or support online-multiplayer more than local co-op.Also kudos to Amazon’s digital system. Ordered a digital code, not even a minute later I received my code and got it downloaded immediately. Also received 300 gold coins as a digital bonus.This is my second time purchasing Mario Kart 8 and I just had to grab it on sale. It’s one of the best experiences you can have on a modern Nintendo platform next to Smash.

If you like Nintendo’s game titles, then this is the perfect gaming console because it is also a portable game system. Image quality is amazing both on the portable version and on a big screen. This is a super-quality product from a gaming company that’s been around pretty much since the beginning of major game titles. Again, if you love their games, this system rocks.

Nintendo’s first-party (e.g. Mario, Zelda) games rarely are available at a discount, so I jumped when I saw that this was available for $40 (down from the usual $60). I personally prefer digital games instead of physical because it makes it easy to switch between the games without having to actually get up and switch cartridges, and store the cartridges in the interim. I received the e-mail that the digital code was ready within 10 minutes, and was able to redeem it in the Nintendo eShop via web browser.Regarding the game, it’s Mario Kart, and it’s the best installment in the franchise. I played this title on the Wii U when it came out, and did not hesitate to buy it again for the Switch. The downloadable content (DLC) for the Wii U version comes as default content for the Switch port, so you don’t have to spend anything extra. Regardless of whether you’re a Mario veteran or haven’t picked up a title in a few years, this is an awesome game that you can play by yourself or keep handy when you have people over.

Fun family time
Anybody of all ages can play this game. My family and I have family game night with having teams within the game and it is super fun. You can race, battle, and do so much more. I only wish more than 4 players at a time could play however, then you might not be able to see the screen to know where you are going.
