Good entry level and well priced device
My first time using this type of camera. hence this test with Akaso and the reviews I read helped with the decision. I had questions and called customer service or help. I was pleasantly surprised when I got Mariana, a live person. Later on I called back about a broken part and got immediate attention. I have been happy with them so far and will be using this camera on a wildlife safari. Looking forward to the trip.

Camera works great I use it to record when I ride my dirt bike for the price the quality is better then what I was expecting even more so considering the uneven ground and vibrations the video still come out clear and Iâve had no issues

Unique FOV Feature
This is a newer generation camera, with wi-fi connect, and is similar to several other action cameras sold under other names (I have two others branded as “EKEN” that are prior generation). I purchased this new generation camera because it touted that the 170 degree wide Field Of View (FOV) could be adjusted to a narrow filed. The FOV is not a common feature among other action cameras and makes this camera unique. The FOV setting is accessed via the utilities menu. A more narrow FOV allows for greater detail when the camera is closer to the subject. Otherwise, the camera performed similarly as others (that did not have an FOV option). The remote, which will simultaneously work similar action cams (i.e. the EKEN cameras) so that you can take three pictures at once using three cameras at different vantage points. The remote is easy to use; however, I’ve only used it for a range of up to 5 meters. And, if you are taking pictures using the remote, then switch to video, the remote will not return to pictures and the camera will need to be turned off to allow the remote to reset from video. Camera comes with lots of accessory gear. All of these type cameras appear to work best the first 15 to 20 minutes and then will stall/freeze; which requires that the power button be held for several seconds powering camera off, then pressed again, will turn camera on and ready for use. This is annoying if you are in the middle of picture taking. The extra battery helps with having quick power backup when first battery becomes weak. Note, video use appears to use the battery power a little faster than picture mode. These are good, relatively inexpensive cameras. (see photos of cam in waterproof case and mounting frame for non-waterproof use with tripods and accessories provided with cam)

Great little camera. I purchased it as a mid tier diving camera and it looks and works exactly as expected. Comes with a ridiculous amount of accessories.

OK for the price
I bought this camera for vacation cause I didn’t want to paid excursions operators for photos or to rent waterproof cameras, but I didn’t want to expend hundreds on a GoPro, that I will just use a couple of times per year. The waterproof enclosure worked well to protect the camera on the river current, jumping into the water from 8 ft high, and diving at a depth of 10 feet in the sea. The camera user interface and controls wasn’t too complicated to operate, although the manual wasn’t that helpful. The quality of the images and videos was good, comparable with a 12mp cellphone camera. The red filter worked really well for filming and photos underwater on the sea. My only complain is that the camera freezes frequently while taking videos (I least mine), making necessary to restart it, and when that happens the video get scrapped. I lost a lot of good videos because I though I was recording, only to found out that the camera was frozen. If you only want the camera for vacation photos, or short videos (and are careful) then this camera will work for you and save you a lot of money compare with the leading action camera brands, but if you need reliability while filming videos probably you will need to invest on a better camera.

finally my search for a good action camera came to an end.. this product is really awesome. I don’t think any other product has been launched in this price range with the quality that can be compared with gopro. I have tested it in rain, night, day, etc and it works amazingly. in short, just go for it.

Camera is too good to use in any weather conditions. The only issue is accessories, what they have written is not provided..Helmet mounts, Bicycle mounts are missing accessories..Look forward to hear if they can provide after continuous follow up.
