Only if you like grounds in your coffee
WASTE OF MONEY! Don’t bother with this machine, you’ll only end up tossing it out the window in a month. Regular pot side works fine, but the coffee pod side is terrible. First the little button inside (that tells the machine it’s closed) wasn’t being pressed down enough so it always signaled the latch was open. Wouldn’t brew unless you keep a hand on top, applying slight pressure. I glued in a rubber foot, which solved that problem without affecting any other functionality of the machine.Second major issue is the coffee pods exploding. Randomly, yet frequently, those little plastic cups just bust right open sending coffee grounds into every nook and cranny of the internal space in the machine. There’s basically no way to clean all of it out, so any future cup of coffee that is successful will still have grounds in it. Reached out to customer service …they say it’s the needle that needs cleaning. Cleaned (unclogged) the needle. Cleaned it again, to be sure. Next pod used was fine. Pod after that exploded. Cleaned the whole machine again. Needle wasn’t clogged at all, but I cleaned it twice anyway just to be sure. Next pod exploded. I give up. Won’t even try to sell/give this away to my enemies!

Great purchase
I’ve been using this for about a month and I am happy so far. The carafe is big if we need to make a lot of coffee. But having the option of making one cup only is great, that is the side we use most. The built in filters that comes with each side saves me money from not needing to buy filters and I get to use the same coffee for both sides. No need to buy individual pods, which can add up $$. The water reservoir holds enough for multiple cups and is easy to detach so you can fill it. The instructions are easy to read. The display is very nice and modern. It makes hot and cold coffee and we use both options. The one thing I did not account for is the height of the machine. My cabinet on top does not allow me to fully open the lid on the right side. The machine is too tall and I do not have enough space between the top and bottom cabinets. That was my fault though, as I should have measured. I recommend measuring your space before you buy. You will need about a foot of space between the top of the machine and the top cabinet to fully lift the lid up. This is only an issue for the side of the carafe not the single cup that takes pods. That side works fine as it is a smaller lid that does not take up as much space. That is the only inconvenience I have with this machine. But it is not a reason for me to return it. I feel like happy with this purchase and have gotten compliments on it from family members who visit.

This coffee pot is amazing. Absolutely love it. I almost didnât get it because of some of the negative reviews but I always have had good luck with this brand & it was the perfect size for my limited counter space. Both sides brew excellent coffee. The permanent coffee filters work great! And it brews automatically to perfection every morning.

Great customer service.
We purchased on October 7, 2024. It is now June 28, 2025, and it no longer brews coffee. I was however, very pleased in their customer service. When I called them. They were quick to send me a replacement. No crazy hoops to jump through. Just had to explain what happened, cut the cord and a picture.

Woke up to crappy coffee super disappointedordered and returned six cuisinarts, including grind and brews after my old pot stopped working.It was worth all the trying and returning because this pot is fantastic. Super fast pods on the other side instead of the right side, so it’s easy to fill both.ReservoirsGreet hot, strong fast coffee currently using 8 o’clock Colombian ground directly from eight o’clock coffeeLove strong coffee so really appreciate the range of oz settings when using pods. 4oz and upAlso detects if you didnt open and remove pod since last brew & will not brew another. Dont waste your money
At first i loved this coffee maker, then it started leaking after a few months. Minor, and i had a mat under it so no big deal I thought. A couple weeks ago I started making a single cup and the unit went haywire. It started smoking badly and an awful electrical burning smell quickly filled my kitchen. The hot plate had either turned itself on or it was actually on fire because as I was trying to move it off my counter to the stove the carafe shattered. I could not find anything on line or in my paperwork stating the warranty on the product so I reached out to Cuisinart customer service. They responded immediately, but as soon as I told them no one was injured and no property damage occured they ghosted me. Apparently they only care about customers issues if they think you might have a lawsuit. $200 for 7 months = not a good deal. Poor customer service means I will not be buying this brand ever again

We had a Cusinart coffee maker for about 20 years, used it daily and it lasted that long. Last month, the water tank started leaking, so we had to get a new one. We had a Keurig but it was kinda crowded on the coffee cart, so I sold it and bought this one. So happy with my purchase! Itâs easy to use, the single serve has more oz options than the old one and the coffee maker has a bold feature too. I got it for a really good price too! I hope it lasts as long as the last one!

We’ve always liked the Cuisinart name, liked the dual brew option and needed a new coffee pot. We purchased the coffee maker on October 30, 2024. It worked great, for a while. On April 5th, the maker stopped brewing after 1/3 of the carafe was full. The lights stayed on and everything was normal except for the fact it would no longer make coffee. As per the instruction manual, I unplugged the unit for a couple of minutes and tried again. The lights came on as usual but no luck with making coffee. I unplugged it again for a couple hours, but no change. I unplugged it overnight and tried it again the next morning with the same results. I called customer service on Monday morning and waited all day for a call back. The representative was quite abrupt, told me to send in my Amazon receipt and wait for a response – with no assurance of a response time.I liked the produce and know that sometimes things happen. I believe this company needs to have a more straightforward process to deal with issues like this – and would do well to upgrade the people in their call center…

I bought the previous model of this coffee maker in 2021 and it is still brewing without any problem except the âcleanâ button wonât turn off despite my triple cleaning-which I can live with. I purchased this new model and started using it in May 2025 for my condo which began to leak within a month of use. Research tells me this is a common issue to which Cuisinart instructs to use a q-tip to clean one of the partsâ¦nope, doesnât work. Well it leaked so bad it blew out the mechanics at the bottom. Opening up the bottom showed wet parts and rust. Very disappointed and would not recommend.
