TV is beautiful, especially for the half off i paid during prime. My only gripe is they were supposed to unbox it and set it up and they didn’t. Not sure why, it said set up canceled on the order page after they left. I didn’t cancel it, they just dropped it and ran.

My tv arrived with fingerprints all over the screen and an already slightly warped and discolored base. My assumption is that I somehow ended up with a floor model or something. Nonetheless, this is a beautiful TV with absolutely gorgeous color. I would buy it again.First, I tried the flagship sony OLED from last year, and it arrived with damage on the screen so I had to return it. Upon approval of that return, soon after it left my home, I discovered that I could order this QD-OLED instead, the 65 inch. So I happen to have seen both, and the color on the QD-OLED is much better, much brighter than on the OLED. It is beautiful. I’ve never seen a TV even close to this.I actually wanted a new tv mainly to use with the PS5, and I’m here to confirm: it’s mind-blowing.The reworked remote is nice – I appreciate the simplicity. The mic integration seems kind of sloppy (everything seems to go straight to search, with not much integration with system menu settings), o/w the system seems pretty okay and easy to use. I like the way the google tv puts all your shows from different services in one place.When I ordered this, I opted for the nice delivery option where they unbox it for you and even install it. This resulted in an undamaged TV. I recommend it!

So we conveniently arrived right when the TV showed up and I assisted the delivery driver in getting it into my doorway. It was clearly noticable that this things weighs as advertised. Before he leaves i do a once over of the box to ensure it wasnt damaged. It wasnt.I remove the old TV and begin setting it up. There are multiple layers of warnings telling you to not do this by yourself. Unfortunately my wife is pregnant and cannot lift that much so going solo was my fate. I pulled all the extras off the top nooks and crannies and i opened the directions to try to get something assembled prior to taking it out. I assembled the remote and thats it. I proceeded to take the outer box off to look inside at the beauty. I follow the directions and get the stand out which is easily 2/3 of the weight in the box. I set that up on my tv stand.I get the pegs on and go to take the TV out.The TV is large heavy and awkward and has no hand holds what so ever. I had to grip the sides in order to get it out and get the plastic off. I kept the Styrofoam screen cover on until the end. I set it all up and secured it then I started on cables. Easy cable installation just like any TV.There’s more though.. this TV was meant for cable management! I had to reroute cables because you have 3 peices that covers all the wires. The only thing I can see after those is my powerblock where everything plugs into. Amazing thoughtfulness on Sonys part.I went to go do the setup. I connected my Google account and it imported everything that I watch and use for media including passwords. Amazing. We watched some videos on netflix,crunchyroll, and YouTube and quality was astounding. The auto brightness and sounds from Bravia is well executed. Currently my wife is playing her video games using the 4k hdmi plug and it is astounding. No complaints other than I should have listened to directions.

Not worth the money… poor quality parts
I purchased this TV from the Sony Store on Amazon in November of 2022. Despite having great reviewsâboth on Amazon and Youtubeâthe TV is barely functional less 2 years later. Currently the TV will turn off on it’s own (as if the power was pulled on it) and it will strobe a red LED 4 times. After speaking with customer support and 3rd party repair services (which are over an hour away from me), it looks like the cost to repair the TV will range from $150â$450 and will take between 1-2 weeks.I find it hard to believe I spent over $2,400 and got a TV that didn’t even function after a year and 9 months.I should have been more skeptical when I saw Sony pushing their extended warranty services on me immediately upon starting the TV. I think these TVs were made to go bad shortly after the factory warranty expires as it is exactly what happened to me.All-in-all, I’d steer clear of any Sony TVs if this is how they’re built. It can be especially annoying if there aren’t repair services near you.

Amazing TV in every way. Much brighter than its predecessor, so you can put it in light rooms and it still looks great. Itâs sleek and the way it sits when the base is behind it, it looks like some fancy art studio in my apartment. Sound is great and follows where the person speaks on the tv which I neat. Surround sound by bouncing sound off walls and ceiling works but I wouldnât say it beats an actual sound system. I use a PS5 with seamless connection. Buying a Sony had everything to do with my PlayStation being my primary console. Although for streaming just using the goggle tv itself is nicer. Google has the tv formatted to show you your previously watched list from all your streaming services in one place. So youâre not having to jump around through the million different services we all got now. THEN there is the âfind my remoteâ button on the tv⦠SOLD put it in my cart! Worth the money!

I upgraded from a 4K UHD LED tv from 8 years ago. The picture quality difference was like going from a CRT to a plasma tv. Absolutely amazing.

This TV is really amazing. The picture quality is better than everything I have seen before. Furthermore, as typical for Sony products, it feels like the TV has a very high quality. The remote is also amazing. I love the lights so that you can see the buttons in the night. To set this device up was straightforward and I did not experience any problem.I purchased the TV via Amazon.ca from a company called Stephensons Electronics. It was very impressive how fast this big TV got delivered (via Fedex). The box didn’t have any damages and the TV was in perfect condition. The company even sent me a person email after I ordered the product with some advice. I wish all companies would be like Stephensons Electronics!

Love the TV. No apparent problem with brightness, although it is glorious in a darkened room. Sound from the TV is excellent, but if you want full 5.1 or 7.2 you will want to run Blu-ray players etc. through your receiver although TV will act as a really good center channel in this case. Remote is nice, but lacks controls for shows recorded on your DVR.

Sony could not be bothered by their lack of quality control on this “flagship” model. Permanent scuffs and bubbles on the anti-reflective screen, chip on the aluminum frame right out of the box! How can this be branded a “Master Series” quality product let alone a “Sony” ? This is totally unacceptable. A film screen protector could have easily prevented the screen damage, something other brands have been doing on their OLEDs. Sony is using the “eco” friendly excuse to save a few cents per TV at the expense of a damaged product that will be shipped back to their warehouse (think carbon emissions, wasted energy, time). Many others have reported the same problem so this is not an isolated incident, and no, it wasn’t mishandled by the customer. Please check out AVSForum for other examples of manufacturing defects on this model.Amazon is kindly processing the return for me, kudos to the rep for the excellent customer service.
