Great vacuum!
I have to say I was skeptical about buying such a small vacuum.After unboxing I quickly put the attachments on and to my surprise it worked like a charm.The cord is exceptionally long, so I can go around my large living room and kitchen without having to mess with unplugging. The power is fantastic ,it sweeps through everything quickly. Itâs nice and light . I love that I can cary it around, that makes it really convenient. This is a really great vacuum at a good price . Itâs very heavy duty yet light enough for anyone having some issues with their hands or back . It makes cleaning a breeze. Good job Hoover!!!

I had a Hoover model that came as an upright only with an over the shoulder vac for attachments. So the package came with two vacuums. That was a quality product! This one will work but is not the best quality plastic the other one was made to withstand. Also the other one came with attachments that pushed together w/o clips. This one has a clip in system and is not the standard circumference of most vacuums. It is much smaller. I do like the design of the hard floor attachment because it does allow enough room at the front to allow the vacuum to pick it up and not just push around the slightly different pieces. I understand the need to market less expensive products so I am ok with the quality differences. The suction is strong which is the most important thing along with the light weight, long cord. I can reach everything!

..before purchasing this vacuum, I read the reviews. They did not do this little vacuum justice. I just unpacked this little guy and cleaned the whole house in 2 hours (4 bedrooms)!, from chairs, lamp shades, table tops, floors, stairs and throw rugs.Carpeted stairs â this zoomed though the chore, and admit it they are a chore!!Dusting â had to hold at a slight angle because it has so much suction.Floors â the device was the right size for breezing though the bathroom floors, which I hate to do!Blinds â zipped though them no issues.Rugs â great on throw rugs and small area carpets. I have one of those dirt catcher rugs by the back door, it is a pain to clean, not any more.Every once in awhile youâll say this is the best money Iâve ever spent, this qualifies!! I loved it so much I bought my best friend one. Now I know sheâs going to think Iâm crazy until she uses it!! : )The only downside is I tried to trip over the cord a couple of times, until I figured out to throw it over my back. The vacuum does get heavy after awhile, definitely use the hip strap(bought the separate carry bag). The other positive â the cord is long, I plugged it into a central location upstairs/downstairs and didnât need to move it to clean the entire 2nd/1st floor. Now that was nice!! I canât wait to try it on the car interior. : ) Really, I donât think youâll be disappointed in this vacuum.Should mention I own a canister and an upright Aerus vacuum (the original Electrolux (now Aerus), not the current Electrolux brand). They clean well but if you own them you know they are heavy and it takes some effort to drag them out for cleaning. This will be a joy to grab, and it does just as good a job cleaning. Yes, I take cleaning seriously!! : )

DON’T BUY THIS PRODUCT !!!!!!!!! I purchased this vacuum about 5 years ago and liked it so much I ordered another recently. Hoover must have changed the design on the lever that holds the main vacuum hose to the unit and the same lever is supposed to keep the bag door from opening. The new vacuum that I just received has a lever that does not perform the two functions. it either keeps the hose in place or it keeps the bag door closed. The failure of this lever to perform both functions means you need to keep a third hand available (if you have a third hand) in order to keep the vacuum together while you’re vacuuming. Really bad design change. Never had this problem with the same vacuum purchased 5 years ago. Thinking this was an anomaly, I contacted Amazon and they graciously send me a replacement vacuum. I received it today and it has the same problem. The issue is not an anomaly. It seems to have been a very bad design change by Hoover. I contacted Hoover customer service and have yet to hear from them on how they plan to address this issue, or if I need to purchase another supplier’s vacuum. I’ll update this review once I hear from Hoover. In the meantime, stay away from this vacuum cleaner.UPDATE – Hoover did not respond to my email, so I called them and spoke to someone who simply gave me a contact for a local Hoover Warranty claims repair location. Before lugging the brand new vacuum to the repair center, I called them to describe my problem (with two brand new vacuum cleaners). I’m glad I called. The repair center stated that if I brought the new portapower vacuum to them, there is NOTHING THEY COULD DO TO FIX THE PROBLEM if that is the way the product is manufactured now by Hoover. Wow, who would have expected Hoover to assume their customers would tolerate such an inferior product.

This is a pretty good, portable vacuum. It’s small so requires more often maintenance cleaning of head, hose and bag. I haven’t used it with disposable bags but the reusable, cleanable one that it comes with seems good. You’ll want access to an outdoor area to knock dust from bag after emptying contents. Does not like wood splinters.

One of the things reviewers don’t mention about this vacuum cleaner is that, because it’s carried on your shoulder, it’s very light and the hose stretches, you can easily clean walls, tops of pictures, bookcases, shelves, hangings, corners of ceilings, etc., etc. And the suction’s great! Highly recommended…at least so far!

Me encanta bien útil para el carro mejor que las de baterÃas pues porque no te quedas sin baterÃa. Limpiar el carro desafortunadamente requiere más de 20 minutos porque eso duran las baterÃas de las portátiles y esta caray súper potente súper rápida y puede ponerle bolsita de papel que yo compré asà que limpio el carro y tiro la bolsita de papel cuando se llene cosa que no ha pasado porque como es pura tierra tarda mucho y no se llena.

La he probado y tiene una potencia suficiente para absorber inclusive pedazos pequeños de material, como concreto despues de taladrar. Me encuentro muy satisfecho con esta compra. Creo que los accesorios como bolsas de papel con adaptador son algo caros pero con lo que viene se puede operar perfectamente.
