Very functional
This chair is very comfortable. I was drawn to it because the seat is adjustable which allows my knees to fit comfortably in a 90 degree angle. I am 5/2″ and many standard chair depths are too long. The padding in the seat is a nice attribute as well. The back support is good, even better when it is locked in upright position. It looks sleek and modernized and is very sturdy.

No lumbar support but otherwise a great chair
As I said on the label, itâs a great chair. Itâs very comfy to sit in, thanks to the high level of adjustability, and itâs quite attractiveâimportant since my âofficeâ is in my bedroom. And the price is stellar for a good desk chair. The armrests are very hard, but that was fixable with a set of gel armrest pads. And the so-called lumbar support is disappointingâyou canât turn them slide it around all you want, but I couldnât feel a difference. (Iâve been using a loose pillow which is non-ideal. Still, with those caveats, I wouldnât leave them recommend.

Well made chair/easy assembly!!
This is a great chair it’s everything that HON said it would be!! It’s very comfortable and well made and also no squeaking at all like many other chairs I’ve had in the past! Many reviews stated that this chair was hard to assemble but for me it was no problem at all and took me about 15 minutes to do!

Neither comfortable nor cheap
The HON ignition chair is supposed to be a luxury chair at an affordable price point. However it fails on both fronts as it is neither luxurious or cheap. Here are the shortcomings that I noticed:1. Quality – The chair I got had frayed and loose threads. The seat cover is stapled to some cardboard under the seat in a sloppy manner.2. Assembly – The manual they share with the chair is outdated. It is from some outdated model or different chair so the steps or parts don’t match. I could only get 3/5 castor wheels to fit properly.3. Ergonomics – The back support relies on putting excessive pressure to bend slightly. If you want a brick wall for your back, looking to tie someone up for interrogation or are simply looking for a chair to perform an exorcism in, this is the perfect chair for you.4. Comfort – I had the chair for two weeks at home. During that time I preferred to sit on a plastic stool and did all my office work on it. It was way more comfortable.5. Disassembly – I decided to return the chair. I couldn’t find any official manual for disassembly. The disassembly instruction link on their website is a dummy manual for some other chair.6. Cost – The chair isn’t cheap as I can buy better chairs for lower price. If you’re looking for a luxury chair, do yourself a favor and spend a little more for an actual luxury chair. If price is a limitation then again do yourself a favor and purchase a cheaper chair for better comfort.

Ergonomic but horribly cheap cushion
I bought this for $400. The first one I ordered came with a giant whole right through the middle of the box so that was an immediate return. Then I got the second one and set it up.Overall it has the ergo features you want to sit healthy at the table. The leaning back feature is nice because I can go very far and it feels like it will NOT tip over at all. And I am a heavy guy. Also seat depth and arms adjustment are a must. So good that it has that. The lumbar leaves alot to be desired.On the negative side, the chair parts were dirty (one of the knobs in particular is still grimey) This just points to a horrible factory conditions and low qc. Also my feet also rub against the front spokes of the base and the edges aren’t sanded properly so I always scratch my legs.Lastly and most Importantly the seat cushion feels very cheap and like it will not last at all. Also it hurts as it is if i sit on it for any longer than 15-20 mins. Its jus so not dense and thin. And this is what makes it a return. A $400 chair with the cheapest cushion. The cushion feels like how cushion feels when its time to get a new chair lolAssemblyAssembly was easyish. You need an Allen wrench according to the instructions, which saw its not included, but they actually slid it into the bottom of the seat. It was easy to set up overall except for inserting the wheels into the base. The tolerances for the holes or the pegs wasnt right so it took a long time to get them in. YMMV

Disappointing
This chair has a lot going for it. Seat depth adjustability is great, and the tilt is very comfortable. However there’s two things that after assembly I realized make this chair not work for me: 1. The seat cushion is rock hard. I can’t believe such a well made chair has such a terrible cushion. It gave me hip pain. 2. I am rather short, 5’1.5″, and while all the reviews and Wirecutter info said yes this is ok for short folks, I still cannot put my feet flat on the floor in shoes at the lowest hight level. A disappointment.

Comfortable, but it takes a day to get used to
I read many great reviews for this product, and it was highly recommended by another external consumer review site. The chair came in a HUGE box that was bulky and heavy to move about, but I could slide it into my house from the outside. The instructions for assembly were very easy to follow, and it took me less than 30 minutes to assemble. Admittedly, when I first sat in the chair, I thought it was uncomfortable, and I was pretty disappointed. All of the reviews had stated how supportive it was, so I was surprised that it didn’t seem like it would be a great chair. That being said, it would have taken too much effort to box it back up, so I decided to keep it, and I am glad I did! It took a few days to “break-in,” but now I love it. It is a very supportive chair, but it is now super comfortable as well. A great purchase!

This was probably the worst install experience Iâve ever had with a chair. Typically, installing the wheels are the finishing touch and satisfying ending to the chair install but this was not the case. Not only did the wheels did forever to get pushed in, all of the wheels Fitment was not perfect. Every single one of these wheels are off by .mm from one another . Other cheap chairs I have used in the past just push click done, this one I had to use full force/nudging/twisting everythingIâm so disappointed considering this was over $7xx dollars.

El montaje fue sencillo y rápido. He estado usando esta silla durante más de 3 meses sin problemas ni ruidos. Proporciona un buen soporte para la espalda y es una buena opción para los veranos. Si tiene mascotas, el asiento tiende a acumular pelo de mascota con el tiempo, pero es fácil de limpiar con una aspiradora. Cambié de una silla gamer de Amazon a esta y es una gran cambio. Utilizo la silla para trabajar de 10 a 12 horas durante semana y algunas horas de juego durante los fines de semana.

Todo sirve como debe, lo único realmente es que tiene una pequeña imperfección en el asiento en lo que seria prácticamente tapizado.. pero bueno la necesito y no la voy a devolver o algo ( decisión propia), en cuanto a instrucciones tienen que probablemente solo actualizar el modelo imagino, de ahi todo fue bastante “fácil” siempre y cuando tengas a alguien que te ayude, francamente la silla se siente bn, se ve bn y en solo dos dias de uso todo bn, actualizare esto dependiendo de como envejezca la silla al pasar del tiempo y del uso.Actualizacion**julio2023**Ahora con dos meses de uso de la silla, todo funciona perfecto, la inclinacion, el movimiento del asiento, los ajustes de altura y las plancas, a pesar de no tener muchos niveles de ajuste estan realmente bien por el precio ue page por la silla ” 8600 pesos” aprox siendo sincero todo esta subiendo y si esta un poco arriba del precio que deberia, pero la verdad si esta ” Bien”.Lo unico que si le voy a dar es que de hecho la esponja del asiento relamnte no es muy buena, con sesiones de 6hr o mas de estar sentado en la silla se empieza a sentir un poco incomodo, ( ppuede ser por mi peso 84kg y que por azares del destino la manera que tenia que sentarme no eran del todo normales), pero creo que realmente es lo unico malo que le podria buscar a parte del “soporte” lumbar que si es bastante incomodo, aunque si llegue a encontrar una posicion que no es incomoda para mi.Francamente con el uso super extra que le he dado este mes de julio creo que si bien en un principio no estaba tan convencido de mi compra, en especial por el defecto que mecnione an mi reseña inicial, creo que si va aguantar los suficiente para mi, y que es de las pocas y buena opciones que se tienen en mexico que esten cerca relacion/ precio/calidad que se puede comprar a este rango de precio por debajo de 10k.
