6.19.25 -I’m changing my review to 5 stars. I posted a video showing where I put it in the semi truck. It’s surprisingly loud. It’s stereo and vocals isn’t the greatest but it works well for my needs.6.16.25 -For what it is the speaker is fair but not great. The Bluetooth is good. The sound quality is not that good. To get good sound it needs to be directly in front of you. If there’s a lot of noise and the speaker is to your left or right the sound quality gets over taken by the other loud noises. The lights are nice but it does not make up for the other short comings. The USB power cable and 3.5mm aux cable is a design flaw. The 3.5mm cable should have been the same length as the USB power cable. The instructions are not very clear on exactly what to do. There better speakers available.

Okay sound, annoying quirks
Sound is acceptable, not exceptional – I have it hooked up to a Nintendo Switch 2 on a 27-inch 4k monitor. During gameplay, it’s great. But turning the Nintendo off the speaker feels the need to constantly jingle and say “Wired Mode” over and over.Another annoyance is that using this method to play the Switch on a monitor doesn’t pass power from the monitor’s built-in USB to the speaker – it has to be plugged into the Switch Dock itself to get power. Probably more of an issue with the monitor deciding when to pass or not pass power (even though the HDMI is connected and functional) but still might be something a potential buyer would want to know.

Small footprint for a crowded desk
Nice low profile. Good sound. Easy to switch between wired and bluetooth. And the decorative light panel is easily disabled.Plug and play! Also, the USB plug is an adapted USB-C, so both options are there.Had a tiny problem with setup, and they replied to my email with a perfect solution within 24 hrs as promised.Would buy again!

Speaker for my computer.
So far, I’m happy with the speaker and how it works. I have it Bluetooth to my computer and enjoy the volume of the speaker. I very seldom give 5 stars, so this is the top to me.

I have had this device for one week, and have the following impressions:1) The lights – turning off the lights does not turn off the lights on the ends. Not ideal – when you want a dark room, you want all lights off when you want all lights off. Also, the light effects do not apply to the ends – the ends are forever green. This seems odd. In favour, however, the lights are pretty cool. I left them on the cool breathing effect.2) The cable – a nice, rugged, braided cable seems pretty sturdy. However – you cannot disconnect it from the speaker. So if a cable issue *does* arrive – the entire unit is impacted. You can’t just replace the cable. Seems not ideal.3) Powering – I do like that it is USB powered. Keeps things tidy.4) Sound – It turns up louder than I expect you will need on a desktop. Plenty loud for music. The bass is fine, superior to my built-in monitor speakers. A nice upgrade!5) connectivity – nice flexibility between BT and wired, but wired is not an option I wish to use. I want the wireless appearance on my desk, ad I want the BT functions from the device, like play/pause. So my review is BT-only.I noticed, right after installing this device, that my other BT devices, previously stable, became unstable. Specifically I have a BT mouse, and keyboard. Both devices will often experience a BT disconnect, and lag in reconnecting. The impact of this is, I move the mouse, and have to wait 5s or so until the computer reconnects it and the cursor moves. Same goes for the KB. I have to hit a key, and see if the KB is connected. If not, wait 5s for it to connect, then everything is fine. This happens often, like 10x a day. I contacted support, and they mentioned 2.4Ghz interference.. but until this device showed up, there was no issue. And removing this device (unplugging it, powering it off) restores stability to the other BT devices. Not sure what’s going on here, but it’s a drag.UPDATE:After working with Bluedee support, they recommended a move to a non-BT wireless mouse, to reduce interference. This is an acceptable compromise, and seems to have fixed the BT disconnect issues, so bumped the review up to a 4.

UPDATE BELOW:Pros: Elegant design and sturdy, very good form factor, size and shape. The volume knob is accessible. Sound is decent.Cons: Sound is only decent. Yes, I put it in the pros, but it’s also a con. Volume goes from low to medium, at best. Do not expect a very high volume. Weak bass. As it is a soundbar, it was expected the sound would be closer to mono than stereo, but not as much as it is. Overall, it’s okay at work, mainly for Skype or Zoom in the comfort of your private office or low background ambient music, but do not expect much. The soundbar being not amplified by power supply, only USB, it sounds good for that category of speaker, but it is nowhere near what traditional amplified low-cost speakers will soundQuirks:- You can disable RGB lights on the front, but not the ones on the side. Annoying if you use in place where you want to keep it dark, such as a bedroom.- Endless spin volume knob is a nice touch, but in reality you reach max at 3/4 turn.- Nice, long, robust single nylon cable, but USB connector and audio connector that split at the end are too close to each other. It’s an issue if your audio output and USB port are more than 12 inches apart.- Drawing power from USB, it became an issue on my laptop which started disconnecting randomly my keyboard and mouse. I solve the issue by plugging to an USB-powered hub, but now I have a faint buzz in the background.- When not emitting sound, it seems it goes in sleep mode, because whenever I received a notification such as Outlook incoming message, I heard each time a small annoying connecting-wakeup “pop” before the sound itself.Final verdict: Much, much better than USB speakers bought at your local dollar store or offered to you by your car dealer as par of its promo, but way below quality of powered speakers. It’s unfortunate because the design is sleek.UPDATE 2021-12-28Received a shameful email from manufacturer yesterday. Among profusions of apologies (which I accept), it offered me a gift-bribe to raise the rating or removed my review. This goes against Amazon policies. I noticed Amazon. Read by yourself : “We sincerely hope that you can give us a second chance to make up for you by providing the following offers for you to choose from. 1. A $50 gift card. 2.A replacement […] The only thing that we ask, on behalf of our customer support effort, is that you consider updating your review to 4/5 stars or removing it completely.”To me, this manufacturer is banned from my purchase pool, forever.
