About Joystick Drift
If you encounter joystick drift after receiving the product, don’t worry. Simply follow these steps to calibrate the G7 SE joystick and resolve the issue:
Press and hold the View + Menu + Xbox buttons while connecting the USB-C cable to your PC’s USB port. The indicator light will slowly flash white.Make sure the LT, RT, and both joysticks are not being touched, then press the A button. The indicator light will turn off.Fully press LT and RT to their maximum travel. Rotate both joysticks to their maximum angles 3 times, then press the A button. The indicator will turn solid white, indicating successful calibration.Once calibration is complete, disconnect and reconnect the controller before use.

Updated review:A few months ago I found a RetroPie gaming set up for the Raspberry Pi. I had a few pi3âs sitting around, so I flashed the SD card and got it up and running. I needed a gaming control so I ordered this GameSir control to use with the RetroPie set up. The review text below reflects that experience. I ordered a different controller and got things working.I then saw a prepackaged SD card for retro gaming on Amazon that was specifically for the Raspberry Pi3. I ordered it, loaded up one of my Pi3s and it was an incredible experience. It is a Batocera install and it really got me excited about retro gaming.I had an old Gigabyte cube that has an I7 core chip set so I did a fresh install of Batocera on it and transferred my games from the Pi3 SD to my new gaming cube. I installed some new front end skins and it blew my mind how much fun this new system is.I had set up to return the GameSir control, but then I thought I should try the GameSir control on my new set up. It worked! Apparently, the USB ports on the Pi3 is a much earlier revision and it didnât support the power needs of the GameSir control. On this new set up, everything about the new control works. What makes this control better than any of my others so far is I have a few additional buttons that allow me to map controls that are not available to my other controllers.This one is a keeper.âââââââOriginal review:Dead on arrival! I tried using it in every computer system I had in the house it would not power up. Just delivered and being returned immediately.

Exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking around this is the one.
I expected less quality at this price. And I was ok with that. I figure I could get a cheap controller for PC games and not pay much and that would be OK.This controller exceeded my expectations. It is high quality and rugged. The controls are sturdy. The vibration is strong. It feels like I can drop it or otherwise jam the sticks or whatever and it will be fine.It set up fine on my PC without any problems. It’s very responsive and smooth. This is a great product.

Controller was great until it clonked out. Been back and forth with emails for the last 2 weeks trying to get it replaced!! Keep getting try this and try that but the controller has no power now but they keep saying update, try new cord, try a different system, try, tryâ¦. If it goes out just make sure you have a spare or expect to be off the game awhile

Power Cable Dead on Arrival
Well the controller works fine just came today, with 1 free month gamepass also.Only problems are the included power cable is dead right out of the box. I plug it into my console several times and the controller does not power on so I had to use another long USB Type C cable, glad I had one around. Lastly there was an Ant in the box too that was swiftly disposed of, you could say the cable was bugged I guess lol.

Very comfortable. Very responsive. Very customizable. Excellent software. Using on Xbox app. No more dead batteries. Not slippery in hand. Has etched grip. Trigger buttons fantastic. D pad is great. Raw mode is great. Haven’t tried the back buttons underneath yet but can lock them out. I got the blue. Kind of minty blue. Gorgeous. Hooked. Buy one. Miles better than stock controller. No drift. Hall effect works. Expands life of controller too. Cheaper than stock. Bought for â¬39.00 here. Cable is great. That’s it.
