Great budget espresso machine
Why did you pick this product vs others?:For the price, this is a great little espresso machine. It was my first one, and it takes a bit of learning to get the hang of brewing espresso, but the instruction book is very helpful. Everyone I have over says how good the espresso tastes from this machine. It heats up fast, the brew time and temperature are great, the shots look and taste delicious. The steamer wand is as advertised – I’m admittedly not great at steaming milk, so I just microwave the milk instead. The little tamper/scoop tool is a bit flimsy (I bought a more sturdy tamper separately), but that’s the case with any machine in this price range. I am upgrading from this machine for two reasons – I want a bigger portafilter (the Casabrews has a 51mm portafilter, and only fits about 16g coffee grounds in the double basket), and I’m buying a machine that does automatic steaming. Otherwise, I have no reason to get rid of this machine. I’ve used it a few times a week for about a year, and no issues!

Great Buy for espresso lovers!
Works great! Very loud! Small, slim design perfect for my coffee bar. Plenty of water and it wipes down with a wet rag. After reading suggestions online I am making awesome mochas. It was nothing to set up and came with all but espresso cups and frothing pitcher. I also got a metal tamper. A bit of a learning curve with beans and tamping but it wasn’t long before I got it perfect. Awesome crema! Best lesson, run the machine empty first to heat it all up good. Same with steamer, run water first to prep for steam. I’m thrilled. I have had it almost 6 months now. Savings tons of money!

Wonderful product. I was hesitant to buy it because of the price but I was pleasantly surprised at how much more flavor and great taste my morning expresso has compared to my old machine. It is easy to use and clean. It looks great on my kitchen counter! You will not be disappointed if you purchase this product.

Great espresso machine
Coffee tastes great! Efficient compact espresso machine for beginners. Plastic content is great because it is food grade and can be washed. Metal color is good but baby blue is the most beautiful ð! Great build quality and purchase for the price! It got 4 stars because water tank does not have a water filter system similar to Keurig and because steamer is a bit hard to use with bigger cups. Clean plastic water tank and change water every week to avoid mold issues. Everything else works like a charm. Buy the wooden portafilter for 9 Bar espresso for more coffee per shot! Other accessories to buy include metal cup for steamed milk and milk frother.

Great Machine for the Price!
I was recommended this specific Casabrews model from someone who has been using it for years without any problems. For the price it is the perfect machine. It is very sturdy and professional looking. It is very easy to use. I wanted to start out with an inexpensive model. It has everything I need. No reason to look further at the more expensive machines when this brews the perfect cappuccino.

A Game-Changer for Home Espresso Lovers
This little machine does wonders! As a beginner âhome barista,â I have learned so much about espresso making, latte art, and the up-keeping of an espresso machine. The steam wand works great, and the machine makes excellent espressos. I use Café Bustelo ground coffee for the portafilter and it does the trick for me.Cup Warmer:I love that I can keep my cup warm on top of the machine while I am frothing my milk, or while I am doing chores. Super compact.Cleanliness:As the instructions state, keeping the machine clean is very important for the functionality of it. Before using the steam wand, itâs necessary to turn it on before using it to froth milk, so that it can pour out some excess water that may be left in the steam wand. Itâs also imperative to wipe the steam wand with a hot rag after each use, and to NOT brew espresso immediately after frothing milk.Milk Frothing:It took me a bit to learn about milk frothing. I have tips and tricks regarding how to position the milk frothing pitcher (which is sold separately.) it does give instructions on how to angle the pitcher to make silky, smooth milk. But I am visual, so watching videos helped me improve.Quickness:The coffee is made very fast! For the double shot, it is literally ready within 15 seconds. Super fast, especially if you are in a hurry.Recap:This is a great beginners machine. White chocolate mochaâ¦yum!
Great little espresso machine! I have never made my own coffee at home, but I always wanted to try. The Casabrew is convenient, easy to use, and quick. Frothing the milk can be time consuming, so I put it in the microwave for a minute with 3/4 cup 1% milk and add 2 tbs of white chocolate mocha creamer. Then I use the frother/steamer. Works great every time!

Makes good coffee, but longevity of product still in question
Bought one for my wife for Christmas. Worked great and we loved it and the flavor of coffee it made. However, after about 4-4 1/2 months, brewing a double shot began to not work properly. The single shots still worked. Reached out to customer service and after trying several thing, including them sending a new filter set, nothing worked. They were kind and quick to help and sent us a new machine (it was a different style than the one we originally had, but no biggie for us.) We are setting up the new one now and will see how long it last, and will update the review accordingly. Overall, a good machine for the price and great customer service.

EDIT: I am upgrading my review to 5 starts due to amazing customer support I received. I was a bit unlucky to receive a machine that makes water smell horrible. I had to ran it with just water for 3-5 times (depending if it is after 9 hrs of hight or just 4 hrs of it being inactive). I tried running citric acid- it did help for a while. Anyways….I got a refund from the company. So my point is: every piece of product cannot be ideal when it leaves the conveyor line in the factory. And this is where customer support comes into play. Yes, I was unlucky to receive probably that one faulty piece, but customer support rectified my disappointment. I am still using the machine (after flushing it with citric acid and continuously flushing with just water) and it is producing amazing espresso! I have just made myself mind-blowing capuchino! I love the build quality of the machine and it does extract coffee to the fullest (silly me, tried to re-use coffee from the Porta filter in my Coffee maker thinking that that there is still so much flavor left and that the espresso machine just couldn’t extract it so well…Well all I got was dark brown water with slight aroma of coffee ð ). So yes…the machine does do a great job on that!Oh, and I found my single shot filter scotched thoroughly to the Styrofoam packaging! So make sure you check the packaging well before complaining they had forgotten to put another filter (just like I did lol).Bellow is my original review:I have to run it with an empty filter three times before I can make my first cup of espresso. I put fresh water which doesn’t smell (and water reservoir doesn’t smell either). Apparently, there is a compartment inside the machine where water stays (and heats up for your espresso) and after staying there overnight it starts smelling like a process water or technical water.Another thing, just like many others noted here, my machine arrived with one filter missing. There is supposed to be two: single and double portion filter, but I received only one.The espresso however tastes well after running the machine three times empty.Well, what would you expect from an espresso machine of that price , right?

Almost one year old now and still going strong. Replaced the cheap portafilter with a nice bottomless one, which is an upgrade I recommend. You really canât do better for the price.
