Great clips for belt and straps
Great for backpack and just in time for my trip with family, it fits very well for my canon eos r with the ef-ef adapter with ef70-200 f4, the slip works very will with the thick shoulder strap on the Herschel little America. Will get another one as a belt clip.

Nice backpack capture clip
Ulanzi sells other backpack capture clip under the naming of Falcam F38. The Falcam F38 is on version 2, so I donât know if this is version 3 or purely a Ulanzi design since this does not have the Falcam branding. Currently I own the Falcam F38 version 2 backpack capture clip, so I was excited to try out this version. This new design simplify the lockup to the backpack strap. There are only 3 level or position you can use to adjust for the thickness of your backpack strap. The pro is itâs faster and easier to clip onto your backpack strap. The con for me is youâre a little limited on how thick your strap can be. This does not fit on one of my backpack strap as it was too thick. I had no issue with the V2 capture clip. This new capture clip now has 2 locks to hold the camera plate in place. The older design only 1 lock. I did notice the 2 locks does not protrude as high as the V2. Also this new capture clip only works with Ulanzi/Falcam plates. I could not get my PD or PGYTECH to fit. This is a sad move on Ulanzi part as all my other F38 capture clips works with other plates.Like the older Ulanzi capture clip, the release button can be locked to prevent accidental release. I donât know if this capture clip needs to break in or if the dual lock is causing it to hang a bit, but it was harder to release compare to other design. It just didnât feel as smooth to use.Overall, itâs still a nice backpack capture clip. However if you have the other capture clips and are debating whether to upgrade, I wouldnât do it as this design doesnât add any enhancement.

Better than a shoulder strap IMO
I used this on a hike in the Everglades recently, and Iâll likely never use a camera strap again. On long hikes, I dislike how my strap digs into my neck, and this clip solves that issue. The clamp holds securely to my backpack strapâit doesnât budge at all, so I have no worries about my camera dropping. The base functions like most mounts on the market: a ¼-20 screw tightens it down, and it stays in place. My camera feels snug when clipped in, without flopping around or feeling insecure. It stays there until I need it. Removing it is straightforwardâpress a button and lift. The clip system has a solid build and feels durable. This provides needed security when you have $12,000 worth of camera gear attached. Iâm satisfied with this purchase, as it has made my outings more comfortable. Itâs worth the price.

Good Alternative to Falcam
This is a bit better priced than the dedicated Falcam F38 backpack mount and holds both the Ulanzi and Falcam base plates. I am a Falcam “F” mount fanboy and this mount works with all of my Falcam F38 base plates. You can also use the supplied UKA plate that comes in the package. This type of mount is ideal if you take your camera out on hikes or day trips. It provides a nice secure method to keep your camera on the strap of your pack but allows you to quickly remove and take the photo/video you are attempting to capture. Build quality is good as you would expect from Ulanzi. Well worth the price IMO.

Very well machined but one MAJOR FLAW
This backpack strap camera adapter is well made from what feels like durable aluminum. It is very easy to install onto the strap of my backpack. It has a sliding mechanism that allows for a variety of thickness of the strap of backpacks. The base plat can be effortlessly inserted into the adapter and is very secure and because the adapter has a locking mechanism I was confident my camera wouldn’t accidently be dislodged. Everything about the backpack strap adapter appeared to work well except for one major problem. There is a bar that the clasp attaches to, well after a few days of use I noticed the locking lever was up, I tried to close it down but it would engage, when I looked a bit closer I noticed the bar and would no longer provide a secure fit to the strap of my backpack.

Strap needs to be of a minimum thickness to work.
This was the first camera mount that I have ordered for use with several of my camera bags. I was looking at the Peak Design type mount as they are highly rated but could not justify the price. Upon inspection of this mount, I found it to be extremely well made and can securely hold my smaller mirrorless camera. My only problem is that it will not attach to several of my lighter unpadded pack straps. Unfortunately, I donât have a method to measure the thickness of the straps, but it appears that must be of a minimum thickness, or it will not function properly.I would have rated this at 5, but because of this issue, I have dropped the rating to 4 stars.

Sturdy and feel safe
Very convenient addition to my camera backpack. Makes travel and street photography so much easier now. Now there no real need to have a neck strap anymore. No longer getting tangled in my camera strap and backpack straps. Very well built, feels very secure.

Poor quality control
Missing a component that screws into your camera and then goes onto the mound
