I work often in our office and I enjoy listening to music while doing so. I also like listening to music with the music videos playing. I really can’t do that on my computer while I’m working, so I picked up this wireless HDMI dongle adapter to primarily use with an extra monitor I have. It mirrors my phone, so I can have my playlists of videos from YouTube going in the background without interrupting my work. When I’m not using it for that, I sometimes hook it up to the TV to watch and do exercise dance videos on YouTube or learn new dances from TikTok. It’s plug and play and so quick and easy to set up. It does come with an instruction manual as well. It can be used with a TV, monitor, or projector for display and the supporting devices are phones, tablets, and computers. It’s compatible with Android, IOS, MAC OS, and Windows. One thing to note, it is not compatible with streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, and Prime Video. I wasn’t wanting it for that purpose anyway. I wanted it specifically for YouTube and TikTok. Price wise, it is on the lower end, which I’m guessing is because of it’s limitations, which again, is what I was looking for. I have no issues with lagging or going from the monitor to the TV. I mostly use my phone as the source. Overall, great value, fast setup, and works great.

Good for basic screen mirroring but streaming apps won’t work
Bought this to mirror my phone and laptop to the TV without having to deal with cables and it works pretty well for what it does. Setup was genuinely plug and play – just connected it to my TV’s HDMI port and followed the simple instructions to connect my devices. The 1080p quality is solid for photos, videos stored on my phone, and basic presentations. The dual-band wifi helps with stability and I haven’t had many connection drops during use. The 30 foot range claim seems accurate, I can walk around my living room without losing connection. Low latency is noticeable when browsing or showing photos – there’s barely any delay between what I do on my phone and what shows on the TV. However, the streaming app restrictions are a major limitation that you need to know about upfront. Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu, and most other paid streaming services just show a black screen due to copyright protection. This basically limits it to personal videos, photos, YouTube, and some free apps. For business presentations it works great – I’ve used it several times for work meetings and it’s much more convenient than hunting for the right cable. The landscape/portrait switching is handy when showing phone content. The mirroring works well but the extension mode is limited, especially for phones. Build quality feels decent for the price and it’s small enough to throw in a laptop bag. If you understand the streaming limitations going in, it’s useful for presentations and personal content, but don’t expect it to replace a Chromecast or Fire Stick for entertainment.ââââââââââââââââ

This wireless HDMI display dongle actually surprised, I got it because I wanted an easy way to stream stuff from my phone and laptop to my big screen without using a bunch of cables. Iâve used it with a smart TV, a regular monitor, and even a projector for a family movie night, and it’s worked really well across everything.Setting it up was pretty straightforward.
