Surprisingly good sound and they stay put!
If you want to hear your surroundings and still enjoy great music then these are for you! I was going to get the V20i but with Prime days this year I decided to get the V30i’s for just a few $ more. I got sucked in to buying a couple of cheap sets, (PocBuds & Golrex) by all the good reviews, but they give away free buds for 5 star reviews, they work but the sound quality is tinny. I love music while working around the house and if the wife’s around then I need to be able to hear her if she needs something. These are PERFECT! Surprisingly good sound and they stay put! I’ve tried all kinds of earbuds and I was hoping my Beats Fit Pro’s would stay in my ears, but they too fall out. I can try and stay on top of it and push them back in every 15 or 20 minutes, but even then they won’t last 4 hours for a round of golf. These I can wear golfing and still talk to my playing partners and enjoy my tunes. The only negative so far is, as other people have mentioned, the touch is VERY sensitive. However, they now come with the one touch doing nothing, you still hear the small beep in your ear, but nothing happens. Personally I turned the one touch back on for start/stop and answer calls. If I do accidently hit them, which I do all the time, I can just hit it again real quick and most times the music barely pauses.

Soundcore by Anker V30i Open-Ear Headphones
I LOVE these. I have bought so many pairs of headphones, trying to find the right pair. I have 6 different pairs that I have been swapping between. Over the ear, in ear buds / IEM’s (my favorites), and open ear. These are my favorite open ear by far.Let me start by saying that ear buds are my preferred type of headphone, but I also have HORRIBLE (all year) seasonal allergies, so ear buds have started to cause a great deal of agitation inside of my ear canals. I also have stretched ear lobes (9/16), so a lot of headphones just don’t sit right depending on what plugs I am wearing and they press into the sides of my head. These headphones solved both of those issues for me.Like others have said, these are so comfortable that you sometimes forget they are even on. The sound quality is good, more than enough in my opinion. I am not an audiophile by any means. I do prefer my IEM’s as far as quality of sound goes, and of course open ear headphones won’t sound as good as those when they are pressed right up into your ear drums (dramatic effect), but the sound on these is good, and the bass is good enough. I love that I can be jamming out at work and yet still hear someone approach me and not get the bejesus scared out of me.The quality of the actual headphones is good. They don’t look or feel cheap, the magnet on the charging case stays closed as well (this is a bigger deal than one would think). My only (very) small issue is the touch controls are super sensitive. BUT thankfully with the app you can go in and shut those bad boys right off and not even have to deal with them. And speaking on that, these have been easy to connect to every bluetooth device I have tried, and the app is easy to install and use, it is super straightforward and you don’t have to be tech savvy to figure it out.TLDR;I have allergies and stretched ears, these help alleviate the issues that come with both when wearing headphones. The sound is good, the bass is decent, and the fit is super comfortable. In my opinion, these are definitely worth the purchase. The quality is great, especially for the price point.

Almost perfect
Ive owned these for 3 months and I really like these earphones, they are loud when you need them to be but turn them down a little and you can hear everything around you also the battery life is great espeically for the price, Almost 5/5. I train for marathons and do automotive work so I sweat a lot this is where they DON’T get the 5/5.They pick up false touches when your sweat touches the earphones since they don’t have physical buttons. You’re music or podcast will be pausing and starting over and over again, and the voice activation will go off. It can be frustrating. To be clear this is only when I HEAVY Sweat, like 8 miles into a long run type of sweat. If they had physical buttons they would be 5/5.Still love them and plan on using them for a long time.

Super comfy and lightweight!
I got these for a long car trip where I am driving. (Check with local laws.) I wanted something that I could still hear traffic around me and be able to have a conversation if need be.These fit the bill nicely. They’re inexpensive, very lightweight, and sound pretty good. Even with my sunglasses, I forgot that I was wearing them… Yes, that lightweight! The sound is lacking in bass, but I was expecting this. Open air earphones like these will not replace your in-ear or over-the-ear headphones. As long as you know what to expect, the sound doesn’t disappoint. The SoundCore app allows for both preset and custom equalizer settings. Even with the bass boost setting, keep your expectations modest for bass response.Reading other reviews, I changed the touch presets on mine to this: single touch for both right and left – nothing. Double touch on left – volume down. Double touch on right – volume up. Long press left – next track. Long press right – play/pause toggle. This way, accidental touches won’t mess up my playback.

Like many other commenters on this and comparable products, the starting point for me purchasing these lies in the fact that traditional earbuds cause me pain. However, in my case these headphones aren’t the first pair of open-ears that I’ve owned, they’re the fourth pair. I had not one but two pairs of Avantree Pebbles. The first was a pre-ordered pair that ended up dying after a few months. The second pair was a warranty replacement that died after a few months. To Avantree’s credit, they refunded me after the second pair died. Then, I purchased a pair of Truefree 01s. Those I returned after two days because the battery life and phone call quality were terrible. Then I saw that Anker, which made a portable charger that I love, made Soundcore and that Soundcore made these. I scooped them up on a sale and am thrilled to find a number of things that have been wanting in previous headphones generally, including the open-ears I’ve mentioned. Here’s a list:a) Like other open-ear headphones, these don’t hurt my ear canals and they allow me to hear background noise while I’m moving around the house or walking/biking to work.b) The volume on these is *loud.* I listen at half volume while biking. I don’t understand how some commenters are struggling to hear things with these on – their ears must work differently than mine or they received a fundamentally different product.c) As a non-audiophile, the sound quality on these seems great. Significantly more bass than my Jabra Elite 3s or Avantree Pebbles had.d) The touch controls are really well-designed. They are sensitive enough that I don’t feel like I’m having to repeat touches but not so sensitive that I trigger them accidentally. Plus, the touch point is a raised ridge on top of another raised ridge, which makes it easy to feel whether you hit it, and they make a short, simple, non-obtrusive tone to let you know when a touch is registered. Then, the cherry on top is that the branded app you can download allows you to customize what each touch does *for each ear,* so you can really configure things how you want. I’ve never had that in any pair of headphones.e) As other commenters have noted, the phone call quality is astonishingly good. I have long wanted to find a pair of headphones that I could use while biking home from work, but having tried so many headphones and bluetooth headsets I had accepted that unless I was going to drop a lot more money than I could justify, the best I could get was an acceptable call quality while walking, as long as the wind wasn’t too strong. Much to my surprise, I tested these out last night by calling my wife while biking home *and she could hear me the whole time.* Not once did she ask me to repeat myself, even when I was biking on gravel.f) The case is less bulky than other open-ear headphones. It’s still bigger than in-ear headphone cases, but this is small enough that I can comfortably keep it in my pocket while I’m wandering around the house. I probably wouldn’t want to do that while going about my work day but it also fits in my shoulder bag (and backpack, obviously) no problem. This is noteworthy because with previous open-ears I felt the need to leave the case at home because it was so bulky. The Avantree Pebbles worked well enough by turning them off and pocketing them. The Truefree 01s didn’t do well with that at all – they kept turning back on and auto playing in my pocket. I haven’t experimented with pocketing these yet because I haven’t felt the need, thanks to the relatively slim case. For all these reasons, I am thrilled that I decided to pick these up. Obviously the one question I can’t answer this shortly in is how long they will last. Here’s hoping they hold up, because I can’t imagine finding a better pair of headphones for me, especially such affordable ones!

like the way the headset sits on the ear. good price. works well once the phone is connected. However now my big issue- it pairs with two phones but one has to disconnect the headset from one phone before it can be used by the other phone (Bluetooth off or disconnect needed) it is not picking up which phone is active at the time.Update 3/9/24after leaving my initial review the Anker customer support team contacted me, offering refund or replacement – which was a very pleasant surprise :-). The replacement product AeroFit offers the dual connection setup (for two phones) via the mobile phone app. For privacy reasons I have a work phone, and a private phone and the dual connection mode enable me to use the AeroFit earphones without switching/disconnecting in Bluetooth. Both the V30i and the AeroFit open ear earphones have great sound and battery life, charge fast and are comfortable to wear. For me the dual connection was the critical point and I’m very pleased with the Anker Soundcore team offering me the AeroFit earphones replacement option.CheersReinhard
