Great replacement parts
I bought this kit because my joycons started to drift and I didnât want to buy new ones. I was a bit nervous about opening up my joycons and replacing the joysticks, but this kit made it easy. It came with everything I needed: two joysticks, metal lock buckles, screwdrivers, thumb grips, pry tools, and tweezers. The instructions were clear and the tools were good quality.The installation process took me about 20 minutes for each joycon. It was not too difficult, but you have to be careful and patient. The hardest part was removing the old joysticks and reconnecting the ribbon cables. The new joysticks fit perfectly and worked well. They felt smooth and responsive, and the drift was gone. The metal lock buckles also made the joycons more secure on the switch.Overall, I am very happy with this purchase and I would recommend it to anyone who has joycon drift issues. It is a great value and a simple solution. It saved me from buying new joycons and it made my switch more enjoyable to play.

Great for the price – includes everything needed for the repair
The kit includes enough supplies to replace two joy-con control sticks. The repair is easy enough if you just look up a video online. I only needed to replace a single control stick in the left joy-con and that took maybe 20 minutes from start to finish. I had no problems with the included tools – everything worked great. The replacement control stick fit just fine.The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the down direction on the new control stick is slightly off. Top, left, and right are perfect, but when you pull the stick directly down, it registers down and slightly right. I don’t expect that’ll impact any games I play, but I can’t seem to remove that even after running through the system calibration menu 5 or 6 times. Again, for the price, this is a great kit and I didn’t expect true OEM parts, so I’m happy with the purchase. If you want perfect calibration, you may need to pay more for a real OEM part.

Everything you need and more
MUCH cheaper than a replacement joycon, comes with everything you need to completely dismantle and replace the joysticks and the release latches, as well as links to step by step instructions on how to perform the repairs!Very easy to do, worked out perfectly. The screwdrivers were sturdier than in a previous kit I’d purchased, and I love the bonus thumbgrips, which don’t spin around on the joysticks like other grips I’ve tried, and the extra grip helps reduce the wear and tear you put on the joysticks which causes the drift in the first place.If you’re experiencing drift or only wven JUST bought a Switch (because drift will happen eventually), I highly recommend this kit. Great value for the price and has everything you’ll need, right down to visual step by step instructions that can help you feel confident about what you’re doing.

The force to move is ever so slightly higher, which i actually prefer.Kit overall: the tools are surprisingly nice. They alone are nearly worth the price. The screwdrivers are good, one being magnetized to not lose screws (no worries as it comes with spare screws! Also comes with a little cube thing?). The tweezers are actually really nice.
