A Studio In A Box… And Me, Staring At It Like It’s Alive!
This bundle brought a whole studio to my door… And then, patiently waited while I Googled what half the stuff does.This is not the sort of equipment you casually open during a lunch break.There’s a kind of hush that comes over you, when you know something important just arrived… and I knew this G10 bundle was going to take a little time to learn and understand all of its nuances. But, not in a frustrating way… (However, I didn’t plug it in right away either).The G10 Podcast Bundle arrived with the silent vibe of something that expects to be taken seriously… like a robotic helper, who’s here to DJ your audio future.Right now, I’m still in the early stages… the part where you twist knobs and see what they do. Where you say a sentence and then say it again… just to test a new profile. It can store up to 19 of those voice modes, by the way… and yes, I’ve already started playing around with the sound of “narrator me” (saved with the push of a button).I haven’t recorded anything serious. What I have done is spend far too much time talking to myself like a radio host in training… because this thing makes it feel like I might actually be one.The mic is… a real microphone. I know that sounds silly, but until you’ve heard yourself through something like this BM-800 condenser mic, you may not realize how many years you’ve spent sounding like you’re… underwater? It’s clear. It’s responsive. It hears things…Inside the box is the BM-800 condenser mic with a voice changer, a sloped console with a full color screen, pitch control, reverb, EQ knobs, the whole setup. Everything is there. It feels like you are working in a real studio. (At least to me).So, you get this great mic and then… there’s the control unit… which has what I’d describe as, “a small attitude, and a nice screen”. It tilts up to meet your eyes directly, and the buttons glow like they’re daring you to push them. And I have. Well, a bunch of them.I’m still learning everything it can do. Reverb modes, pitch shifts, auto-tune settings… features like “loopback” and “sidechain” that I only understand a little right now, but which sound like the sort of things I’ll say one day with confidence… while sipping coffee, and adjusting audio levels like a pro.The truth is… I picked this for a reason. I’ve got stories to tell. Videos to make. Voice overs to record. And… when that time comes, I want the audio to sound like I knew what I was doing before I hit record.I’m not there yet. But, I’ve got the tools now… and a very patient set up staring back at me (once I figured out which end of what, goes where).This thing is fun, professional, and beautifully overqualified for what I currently know how to do… but I’ll get there.So, if you’re looking for a shortcut… this isn’t it.But if you’re looking for something that grows with you… that makes even the early fumbling stages feel kind of cool and magical… well, this could be it! The G10 equipment bundle might just be… your new favorite co-host.I am extremely impressed with this bundle’s capabilities and look forward to learning more and becoming efficient with its many fine qualities… And, learning to ” Speak Studio”.The product arrived on time, and was very well packaged (a box within a box).From doing a little looking around online, this is a fairly reasonably priced and content rich product. It will perform professionally… while being just in the sweet spot, for “non-pros”, who wish to learn… and grow (really punch up your YouTube videos, get into podcasting and live streaming, maybe even a new career in narration).I also believe for what you are getting here, it is a really good value for the money… I have seen numerous singular microphones which are more expensive than this complete bundle.Recommended!✅
