Above expectations!
Needed a laptop for basic functionality such as emails, Microsoft office, and research on the internet. This is my first Dell, and it did not disappoint! I am surprised how thin the laptop is and there is no external battery. Seems to have wonderful battery life and amazed at the 3 USB ports plus a USB C port. I wasn’t expecting for this laptop to have bluetooth, and it does! Everything seems to work right, the laptop itself seems sturdy and made well. Not a big fan of windows 10, but this seems to work well on this device. Screen is great, watching Amazon prime movies on here is a treat, and the sound quality is excellent. I don’t plan on using this for games so I will not be a good source for those types of questions. Only con I have is the loss of a dvd/cd drive. RIP. This is probably an older model refurb laptop, but the price was wonderful and I am happy to be able to do work again on a reliable laptop.

Great Little Machine
I bought this laptop to use for a side-hustle. As an older refurbished laptop, I wasn’t expecting a whole lot. Out of the box it worked great with the exception of the USB-C/Thunderbolt port. I ended up replacing the entire motherboard for about $60.00 and the machine has been flawless since.Couple of things to note, this machine comes with Windows 10 and is not Windows 11 Upgrade eligible. I installed Win 11 anyway and it works great. No issues and I still get all of the Win 11 updates. The screen is not super bright. It can be a little hard to see when you are in brightly lit rooms. I have been able to drive 4 monitors off this machine using a Dell Docking station (Thunderbolt) for 3 monitors and casting to a 4th monitor. I rarely see a degradation in performance. The times that I do see reduced performance is when I’m running heavy processing applications or video conferencing.

Great product for the money, but need to make sure it’s been “renewed”
Physically, the laptop I received looks brand new, with some slight wear around the USB-C port that’s hardly worth mentioning. The screen was scratch free, and no perceptible wear on the keys or touchpad. The power supply was obviously used, and even came with a sample of the previous owners hair (gross!). Battery life has been great. After the initial charge, I’ve been running (mostly idle) for over two weeks and battery life is just under half. All in all, I’m very happy with the condition of the laptop.Now for the bad. The laptop had not been “renewed.” It booted up to a login screen for the previous owner’s domain (BP Oil). There was no way for me to directly login. I had to log into the BIOS and force it to boot from USB so I could access it. After getting in, I could see that the previous owner’s files were still there. I reformatted the drive and loaded a fresh copy of Windows 10 and I’m able to use it as I need to now, but this would be a deal breaker for most people. The former owner (BP Oil) and their vendor (TekRefurbs.com ) broke every rule in the cybersecurity rulebook on this one. They need to do a better job at protecting their assets.

I had bought this laptop a couple weeks ago and it was working fine for a couple days but then started having issues starting up and it would turn itself off and go to a blue screen after using it for a couple minutes. I tried contacting the company but they said they donât do returns. thankfully my friend has a lot of computer knowledge and helped me find the problem which was a faulty hard drive!! it wasnât even the correct hard drive inside of the laptop and i had to go buy a new one and spend 60 dollars, my friend ended up putting it in and having to reinstall all the software to get it to turn on. after 3 days he was finally able to repair it but this should not have been an issue I faced and the seller should have fixed the problem since it wasnât user error. I wouldâve spend hundreds if i wouldâve taken it to a technician so be aware!!

NO WiFi / Wireless Internet!
I received the laptop in time for my wife’s Christmas present and was very happy until I discovered it didn’t have wifi.. You will have to connect your internet with an ethernet cable.. Before my purchase I read the questions and reviews where someone said it DID have wifi but I can tell u first hand that IT DOES NOT have wireless internet.. Right time I turned it on for the 1st time, it asked me to plug up my ethernet cable to connect my internet.. I also tried in the setting to hook up to my wireless internet and wireless was not even an option.. Don’t get me wrong, It looked great with only 2 very small scratches on the side and it was just like opening a brand new computer when i started it up.. Next, the mouse also didn’t work when I tried to scroll down and I’m sure it was like that from the old user but everything else worked.. It’s not a bad buy but Remember, You Are Buying A Refurbished Laptop not a new one.. I’m sending it back and already just went ahead and ordered a new one since I have it extra money right now and since it’s a Christmas present.. La máquina llegó perfectamente empacada y muy bien protegida. Limpia y con una estética 9 de 10. Todo funciona correctamente y es veloz para aplicaciones de oficina y videos. Viene con WIndows 10 Pro, que puede configurarse en cualquier idioma. La baterÃa también llegó en buenas condiciones y hasta ahora ha mantenido la carga por un total de 4 horas y marca que aún le resta poco menos de la mitad. Muy recomendable.
