Good camera, good price, good daylight video quality, it is worth it
I actually wound up using this camera a lot. The picture quality is very good, the color rendition is bright and vibrant in daylight, not so good in low light, the price for the x3 is not bad for what you ultimately get, and the invisible selfie stick feature (which works with any stick, tripod, arm, whatever is holding the camera, is kinda cool.Pro – easy to use, easy(ish) interface, good daylight image quality, nice features, good image stability, good battery life, easy to find accessories online.Cons – bad low light, menus and touch have a small learning curve, LEN COVERS ARE NOT VERY DURABLE.Fortunately before a motorcycle trip I bought lens covers for the camera (which offer there own special problems), the cover got a rock chip literally 20 mins into our adventure. But because it was a polycarbonate cover, I used some brass polish and scrubbed the scratch to light enough that it was not to noticable. But beware, if this had happened to the actual lens, I’d be screwed.Overall and for the $$ this is a good camera. It is great not to have to worry about composition and just enjoy your adventure. It’s a bit clunky to edit what you want afterwards, but it cool and fun to use.

Iâm rating the purchase from MallStop. Mine was advertised as excellent but arrived brand new and sealed. I took a chance on a refurb and this time I was thrilled to get a new one.The camera is great. We all know itâs in the 4.6 rating range and a no brainier, especially with this deal

360 camera makes virtual spaces, but not VR
A solid 360 camera with free editing software. I’ve been using it to capture memories and be able to sit in a space using my VR headset… especially of hangouts with loved ones, for when they’re no longer around. This makes me an observer in a virtual space, but is not a virtual reality camera

Looks brand new!
This camera looks and appears to function as a brand new camera. I had bought an x3 new a while back and sold it because I no longer had a kayak where I would use it, now I have a kayak again and missed getting 360 footage so I got this refurbished model. It didnât have a single blemish and came with the protective film still installed. It appears to work fine but Iâve yet to test it out on the water. If I donât update this review, then all is well! Very happy to save some money with this refurbished model. I had no problem registering it the the app on my phone.

The camera works fine but service is bad. I had an issue with play back which could have been resolved easily if tech support was better trained. It took many hours of email and calls to fix the issue. Insta 360 offered compensation which I accepted. It again took several emails to get the delivery instructions, my address, sorted out. It took weeks to get here and guess what, its not what I requested. It was supposed to be a charging bank but they sent a battery instead. I already have a spare. I have now started the no doubt lengthy process of getting this new screw up sorted out with INSTA360.
