Files app is an important app that can transfer files from your memory card or USB disc to your iPhone and iPad.

Great for backing up photos/videos from your phone during travel
I am a travel photographer shooting primarily with my phone and my drone. Since high-resolution photos and videos can fill up the phone storage quickly, and backing them up can take forever to upload to the cloud. I bought this so that I could back up my shots then delete them when I needed more storage space. It works very well for that purpose and also enabled me to go directly from my drone’s memory card to a standard USB drive. It was well worth the purchase price.

Good useful product
Good product which I have purchased before. I use it to down load SD card photos from my trail cameraâs to an Apple tablet. Great price too. My last one needed replacing after over a year of plugging it in and out for over a year.

Be careful using with your iPhone
EDIT: So I ended up just purchasing a new SD card. When you connect the reader to a desktop/laptop you have the option to âejectâ the SD card so you wonât lose data. Connecting directly to an iphone, you donât have that option. And I assume this is what lead to my lost data. Technically itâs not the card readers fault but I would take this into consideration when purchasing and using it with your iPhone. Specifically ones still using the lightening cable.Original: Easy to use. Had for a few months and for some reason some of my photos wonât even show up when connecting the reader to my phone. I can see the images fine on my camera but then itâs missing or has an error on my phone and then is gone when I put the card back into my camera. Posted a screenshot to show what Iâm talking about but colored over my photos just for privacy ð
