Made short work of our crabgrass!
Normally crabgrass laughs at most broadleaf killers. If you want to kill it you have to choose a product that says expressly “with crabgrass killer.”We had a long thick strip of crabgrass that arrived this year. When I say long and thick it was a foot wide and close to 25 feet long. We’ve always had a problem with the back yard in our rented home, but this was the most concentrated as I have ever seen it.The product, like all weed killers does not smell good, and the smell lingers on the lawn for several days.I received the product June 10 and used it at a slightly stronger mix in my hose end sprayer. This is what it looks like on June 13. I am doing the happy dance!

Really Knocked out last of Weeds in the lawn
Absolutely stopped the growth of the weeds the pre-emergent didnt catch. I’m not sure what the weeds were, but they are struggling to stay alive. I have an extra spray bottle to give the knockout punch to anything trying to hang on. Definitely putting this on my weed control list.

Kinda, Sorta works, but – Meh
The photo is from about 10 days ago-Bio-Advance does ‘hurt’ the crabgrass, i.e., it -eventually- causes the crabgrass to brown, turn red and given time it will probably die. In the meantime the weed seeds still mature and are probably ready to go next season. Bio-Advance kills, or at least weakens, other broad leaf weeds and doesn’t seem to harm the grass, so there’s that. This is with applying it at a dose rate of 5 oz per gallon of water.I’ve tried with and without a surfactant, and i didn’t see any difference. It would probably work best in the spring before the seed pods develop. I’ve about decided that one might have to just do a herbicidal ground clear, kill anything that comes up in the spring, and start over.

not impressed with the poor results
I’ve tried this product a couple of time and been only disappointed.  And yes, I applied as directed.  it will weaken the weeds for a day or two, but then they just come back, never dying.

    Works well
Great product. Definitely kills weeds without killing grass. Easy to mix and use just look at directions before you mix so you get the right amount for what you are using it for. No leakage during delivery

    Great Product
This cuts down my the weeds growing in my lawn, although I have to be careful not to overdose the lawn so that the good grass does not get killed also. If applied at the prescribed amount, it works wonders.

The weedkiller is easy to use but some of the crabgrass needs some more. You can smell it for days!

Crab grass has been the scourge of my lawn for years. I tried keeping the lawn super short and pulling it out, but nothing short of tearing up whole sections of lawn and reseeding seemed to work, until now. This does kill, or at least badly yellow, crab grass on a first application. It’s not systemic so it looks like it will need a few applications to get it all, but I can’t tell you how much I enjoy watching this weed die off.A few words of caution, the instructions are in imperial old school measures, so it’s easy to miscalculate exactly how much weed killer to add to a quart per furlong but over dosing doesn’t seem to harm normal grass too much. The delivery is also impossibly long. After a couple of weeks I checked what was happening and the eta on a new purchase was quicker than my old order.

Not sure it works on UK crabgrass, but more importantly the chemicals in it are not UK or EU approved it seems.
