Awesome baby monitor
This is an awesome baby camera. Iâve been using it for some time now, so my review is based on actual experience. I previously had another VTech single-camera model (VM919HD) with a 7â display and no WiFi, but this one is much better.First of all, you get two cameras. You can monitor them using the included screen or through the VTech app on your mobile device. The resolution and picture quality are significantly better than the non-WiFi model. There is a slight delay in video transmission, but thatâs expectedâmy previous non-WiFi camera had a similar delay.I use mesh WiFi with full coverage throughout my apartment, and I havenât noticed any transmission cuts. However, if you use a single WiFi router and have areas with weak signal, the non-WiFi version might suit your needs better since it uses radio signals.The parent unit and cameras come with 100â240V adapters, so they can be safely used in Europe and other countries with higher voltage. Youâll just need to purchase a plug adapter separately for your country.I also bought a flexible mounting clip for the baby bed separatelyâjust search for âflexible baby clip for VTech RM7764 camera.âThe parent unitâs battery holds up well. The movement, sound level, and temperature alerts are very useful and sensitive.One downside I found is that the back leg of the parent unit is very small and only works on flat surfaces such as a table. If you try to place it on a couch or carpet, the leg doesnât support the parent unit well.Overall, Iâm very satisfied!

Perfect Dual Camera Solution
I upgraded from my single cam VTECH setup to this dual cam one when I had my second baby. I love that I can use either the handheld monitor or my phone, and switch between direct connection or WiFi as desired. Picture quality is great, settings for the app and the handheld are great. Setup is really straightforward.The only hiccup Iâve ever come across is just needing to power cycle the cameras sometimes as theyâll disconnect via WiFi sometimes.Photos reflect picture quality seen in-app. Camera is roughly 3ft above the top of the crib and bassinet, mounted to the wall.

Amazing budget video monitor!
This is an amazing budget video monitor! My regular monitor is the Eufy, which I love, but I needed a travel monitor for when we go on vacation. At $50, this was the perfect price. And even though the Eufy cost 3x more, this monitor has some better features! I highly recommend this one.Pros:You can leave the sound on, and turn the screen off! By pressing any button, the screen comes back to life. This is how I have it set for overnight.The parent unit plugs in with a round plug/cable (not a USB, which requires flipping it the right way).The parent unit is a great size and very tough. You don’t feel like you need to baby it. It has a little kick stand that is very sturdy!I don’t use it, but it does have a VOX feature.I don’t use it, but it does have a two-baby units feature.Cons:The “dim” setting is very bright.The quietest/lowest sound setting is very loud.The picture quality is decent, but not amazing.

DO NOT BUY. This does not work well and came with a lot of issues. especially when you need it most.I purchased this in October 2024 to replace my old vtech single camera since baby #2 was due Soon. I set it up in December for my toddler. Set up was easy but by March 2025. Only 3 months of use you already had a host of issues before my second baby was born!!!!!Poor connectivity. Very soft sound even at the highest sensitivity and volume compare to the previous vtech camera I had. The night mode is glitching so it toggles between night mode and day mode make a lot of clicking noises keeping me and my toddler awake as can be heard from the camera itself. I have to turn off night mode for it to be quiet however I cannot see my child. I tried unplugging the camera but a few weeks later the issue returns.Now we are in May and the charger has completely stopped working/charging the monitor screen. Not to mention the battery life is very short when not plugged in. I have to use another charger to use it but it is not holding the charge as before. Now the icing on the cake is the antenna broken. All this after only 4 months of use!!!!!!! Itâs driving me crazy. DO NOT BUY. POOR PRODUCT. My first tech single camera was much better and clearer where I can see baby breathing. This one is far less superior and has too many issues. If I was living in the US I would have retur ed this lonnggg time ago.After baby was born set up second camera. More connection issues and short battery life.I repeat. Do not buy. I will be trying another brand next purchase.

Works great exactly what I needed
*updated*Removed 1 star for rubbish battery life. After a few months of use the battery pack in the parent unit stopped lasting through a nap even. I bought an aftermarket replacement battery for less than $10 and it too only lasted a few months. So pretty much just have to keep it plugged in now. It’s an inconvenience, but still works for my situation. Also, being able to adjust VOX has been helpful. I would probably still buy again.*OriginalLove this simple monitor. Has great signal strength, practically nothing to set up except for a few feature options, image is clear and crisp even in the dark. And I don’t have to be concerned about wifi ones getting hacked. The battery on the parent monitor lasts for quite a while. I just power it down between naps to conserve. Also it was super easy to just unplug and take on a trip for use on vacation. Two thumbs up!

Very durable
Why did you pick this product vs others?:The price and quality makes this a great option for all parents. Itâs quite durable my toddler threw it on the floor numerous times and itâs still continued to work great, it also has clear audio and image! And setup is a breeze you just plug both in and your on,and itâs almost forgot itâs plays music!Â

Everything works well for a week, then 1 of the camera just stopped working.Unable to reset or pair the camera.To pair the camera, have to hold the pair button till there’s beeping sound, but it doesn’t work. So now I hv 1 camera as a dead paperweight.

Great idea in theory to have both WiFi and non-WiFi connection. Sadly, it stopped working after 3 months of using it. If you have e.g. kitchen appliances in between the parent unit and the camera, it looses connectivity due to interference. Also, the infrared sensor stopped working properly so itâs useless to us during the night, as there is no night vision.I canât return the device as itâs not marked that it was delivered, but still says âshippedâ in my orders. Vtech technical support is also not replying to my emails. Waste of money.
