Moreover, the monitor receives positive feedback for its value for money and image quality, with no dead pixels reported. However, the build quality and functionality receive mixed reviews – while some find it sturdy and flawless, others note it’s not from a high-quality company and some units stop working altogether. Bought the premium VA panel version, 32 in 4k Used “Very good”, to save 100 dollars what a surprise!
I chose this monitor to be my first 4k 32 in monitor, and i am glad i did! I am a “tech guy” who is a casual gamer, on both PC and PS5.. and this monitor looks great from both devices.I am not a display “elitist” or anything like that.. but i will say, the display looks great, and the brightness is great as well.. i prefer the “cinema mode” preset.. it mounted easily onto my VESA mount, and the best part is.. I bought it used “very good”.. i am 99% sure this monitor was brand new and had not been set up before.. (im sure the box was the only thing that was worn and damaged, since that is the only thing i saw with some wear and tear).. other than that, all the cables and pieces were all properly packaged in its original wrapping and foam, and the monitor had its ASUS cardboard sticker on the upper right corner and side. perfect screen no damage, no dead pixels, etc..I recommend this device for anyone if you can grab it at under 500 bucks.. the quality and FPS looks awesome on PS5, i have never seen such a great FPS on a 4k monitor before and it is night and day difference in quality..

Best value in 32 inch 4k monitors
I play first person shooters. Gaming looks excellent on this 4K monitor. Everything good except I think the delivered stand makes the monitor too low. I solved this problem with an after market Wali vesa monitor stand. The monitor setup interface is the best I’ve ever seen. Love that mouse in the back for selecting bright, color saturation. Best bang for the buck 4k Monitor.

Frequent pixelated flicker occurs, and HDR doesn’t work. Returned after 20 days.
Edit: I have tried other monitors and confirmed – this problem is not me or my top notch RTX 4080 Super, CPU, RAM, etc. – the other monitors did not have this pixelated flicker, it’s just this one monitor. Again, I really wanted to love this monitor, it was great in many ways except for it’s non-functioning HDR and this flicker… the picture was so good I was even almost willing to overlook the non-functioning HDR.Original review:Would be an outstanding monitor, except for this intermittent pixelated flicker that occurs fairly often (see picture) ever since I originally set it up. The flicker varies in shape, size, and location, and lasts anywhere from half a second to 10 seconds, and it’s always something similar to that pictured above. HDR also does not work. These seem to be widespread and known problems with this monitor. It’s a shame – I gave it 20 days trying to convince myself it was okay (because the picture otherwise is great), and even cancelled previous return requests to attempt additional troubleshooting, but this is just too annoying and not worth the $600 I paid for a brand new monitor. Return submitted.

    Impressive All-Around Performance
I purchased this monitor a little over a month ago and have been pleasantly surprised. This is the second screen from ASUS in my collection.I am a professional photographer who also loves gaming, and having multiple monitors on my desk just isn’t feasible, so I needed a one-for-all solution. The ROG XG32UQ has succeeded in every way. My primary specifications for this purchase required 4K (3840×2160) with HDR600, sRGB color accuracy, and Nvidia Nsync.HDR has just recently been a primary concern. Still, after gaming with this monitor, I see HDRs benefits–the pop of lighting from bright in-game light sources has a tangible effect and raises the realism quotient in a way that I can’t quite define.Anyone who engages in digital art, design, photography, or video will tell you that color accuracy is paramount when selecting a screen. I was willing to accept a trade-off between screen refresh rate and AdobeRGB and settle for sRGB accuracy. I could not be more pleased with the color performance of this panel–without even needing to employ a third-party hardware calibration tool, the XG32UQ is rock solid. Every image I generate looks the same in every aspect of Windows (browsers, file viewer, desktop) and appears on external devices (iPad, iPhone, etc.). This has dramatically reduced my time to generate photography. I can be confident that images appear how I intended. And lastly, I have been an avid gamer since the early ’80s. A monitor with a high screen refresh rate was my final requirement. The NSync integration has been rock solid, eliminating screen-tearing in fast-moving gaming scenes, especially in action titles such as Destiny 2.For the cost, this monitor has been an eye-opener. I only regret that I need more desk space to add a second.

    Cannot recommend this monitor
Not worth the money, regret not getting another Gigabyte which feels crazy to say. Out of the box image quality was trash, took a ton of adjusting. My fault for not reading but it also doesn’t raise up. My gigabyte that’s cheaper has better quality and can raise up and even switch to portrait layout and still gets 144hz 1ms. And it’s much tufer than this cheap junk.
