So worth it
Great controller for the price. However I did return it for a couple reasons.1. The controller doesnât work with Wuthering Waves on iOS. Thereâs a workaround where if you plug another controller into the device and get controller functionality to work then disconnect that controller and quickly plug the X5 lite in, it works just fine. Really strange imo.2. The handles and thumb sticks are a little small for my hands. Itâs really nice looking and initially feels great but I noticed my hands getting slightly worn out when using this for a couple hours. Not even bad just slightly noticeable.Overall I actually really liked this controller. If it wasnât for it not working with WuWa I wouldâve kept it. It works with ZZZ and Xbox cloud gaming flawlessly which is nice. I have a 16 Pro Max and itâs a perfect fit to me. Super sleek looking and it would be really easy to travel with. The pass through charging is also super nice too. It was really convenient having that when playing in bed. It also snapped right in and worked. Didnât even download the app or anything it was just ready to go.I also like how quiet the buttons are. I got the Gamesir G8 Galileo (which is how I found out about the work around to get this controller to work on WuWa) and the buttons are noticeably louder on that controller over this one. Triggers, ABXY buttons and the D-pad are all really enjoyably quiet on this controller.I would definitely recommend if youâre either on a budget, donât play WuWa on mobile or just want something compact to carry around. This things gonna end up being the Backbone killer. Totally worth it!

The best mobile controller for you (if you are okay with sacrifice)
This controller is SOLID. After using it for some time now and getting some mileage on it, I think itâs fair to finally tell you why this is a solid controller (if you are ok with some sacrifice)Short story: Iâm coming off of a BackBone One (PS) that I had and loved. Now with the iPhone 16 with usb c, I had to start looking for a new one.I want to give you some of the pros and cons about this controller to help you make a more informed decision rather than just going the easy route and saying âit great ðððâGames Iâve tested this controller with:Call of Duty Warzone MobileCall of Duty MobileZenless Zone ZeroHonkai: Star RailDead CellsStardew ValleyWarframeSteam Link/Xbox Cloud (have not tried PlayStation remote play so I do apologize if this review doesnât have EVERYTHING)Pros: the controller is built with great features. It has weight, and stretches quite a bit (for those who like a larger screen like an iPad mini or other usb c supported small tablets). It has pass through charging which in my opinion is amazing, allowing you to charge your device while still holding the controller comfortably. The buttons feel smooth, responsive and very tactile. It comes with rubber pad to help secure the device and make it snug and even has a protruding usb c port to allow electronics with cases (thickness depending) to sit in. The instruction booklet, while absolutely confusing, does go over some of the cool features like switching between android and iPhone. Connecting to games was (mostly) seamless and worked as intended for most of the games I was playing.Cons: while the device has pass through charging and a usb c connector, the fact it doesnât come with a headphone jack for more in game immersion is a bit strange, I can understand that weâre in an age of Bluetooth headphone technology, so not a huge issue whatsoever. The app is a mess. It doesnât have REAL support for this controller right now so maybe that will change in the future but as it stands, donât bother wasting space on the app until itâs supported. Although most games I played had support right from the go, some of them were a bit more trouble some, that being specific buttons that I would associate with being specific prompts would flat out not work and would put me in some rather unstable predicaments. The controller doesnât have PC support, so donât expect to get a standalone controller out of this as well, which is a shame. If you ask me, if youâre coming off of something like a Kishi or Backbone and need something solid without breaking the bank, this is a snag for sure, plus it makes a great gift for the gamer on the go. However, as far as I have experienced, donât expect full controller capabilities from it. it does more than most controllers similarly priced, and thatâs perfectly fine.

No brainer for the cost, better than its more expensive competitors. Canât complain.
Really solid for the price. I was debating on getting a Steam Deck or a Switch 2 to scratch my mobile gaming itch only to realize that most of the games I play nowadays is via streaming with Xbox Cloud and GeForce NOW. So instead of spending hundreds on a console, I looked into controllers.I own a Razer Kishi V1 and whole it was fine and super portable, it didnât feel the best while being far more expensive. Plus even though itâs type C, itâs not iPhone compatible. So then I went to buy a new one. I was comparing this to the likes of competitors such as Backbone and this just seemed way more worth it. 25-30% of the cost with all of the features I need.Itâs very lightweight and comfortable which is nice. No bluetooth, which is okay for me because I wanted the latency free wired feeling, and the port moves to help better adjust your device for a good fit. I do wish it expanded a bit more to fit my Tab S6 but it does fit my iPhone 16 Pro perfectly fine.Iâm not super up to date with third party controllers so I will say what I know. These buttons are all membrane switches, which is fine for me. The buttons feel tactile and similar to a standard Xbox controller but with more of a responsive bounce back. The bumpers and âtriggersâ are also membrane switches and feel responsive and fast. The sticks are hall effect to prevent stick drift but do feel like they could benefit from being slightly larger with a wider range of motion. Iâll take what I can get though.Compared to my Kishi, this is so much better and itâs not even close. More ergonomical, more intuitive adjustments for different cases (I can fit my phone with a case perfectly fine), and much higher quality feeling input. This device is very comfortable in the hand and I donât foresee my self getting fatigued after longer sessions of Oblivion, Cyberpunk, or various multiplayer shooters. The device is plug and play. On iPhone, you need to enable âSwitch modeâ which is explained in the manual for input to be received. After that, itâs smooth sailing. My Xbox Cloud app seemed to not register the device at first but I havenât had a problem since then. No issues with my GeForce NOW experiences, and PS Remote Play only really works with a third party app like PX Play. The GameSir app doesnât detect this device but I guess it doesnât need to. It is nice to quickly access the manual through there. Aside from that, it has plenty of features I wonât use like turbo function, switching the A/B and X/Y buttons for what Iâm assuming is for Nintendo games and emulation, screenshotting with key combos, and volume adjustment (android only). For this cost, itâs kinda a no brainer, even if my sample size for products like this is super minimal.

The perfect phone controller for me! It’s in between the Gamesir X2s and Galileo G8 plus. The G8 was too heavy and the X2s felt a bit too cramp but the Gamesir X5 lite feels like the best of both worlds in terms of weight and comfort. I like this wayy better than my g8 plus, which i found a bit too heavy and bulky.

Easy to use and connect instantly recognise by my s24 ultra even with the issues that been happening with xbox controllers and android at the moment they work perfectly, you do need a slimmer case, but the ability to remove spacers for the usb c port allow you to adjust to you case sizes. The pass through charge is fantastic meaning you can play non stop I would still rocomend a 45° cable just to keep your pinky a bit more comfortable when charging
