Good for smart home or just convenience of being able to control something.
So far so good. I’ve slowly been implementing more smart devices for voice/app control. I used this with my growlights for vegetable seed starting and it worked like a dream. Easy to use, just plug it in and find it on the alexa app. I could turn it on and off by voice or app. I haven’t tried connecting it to home assistant yet, I’m just beginning that phase. Minimal power consumption, typically offset by being able to regulate the device it’s plugged into..

Good 15A switch, once setup is accomplished…
Overall, a good 15A switch once you are able to get it configured.I had to downloaded the SwitchBot app to perform the initial setup, I ran into some strange issue which required me to perform a manual configuration. Once done, I saw there was a firmware update to version 2.0 that fixed some bugs. I then followed the instructions and I was then able to add it to HomeKit via the registration number. There are advanced features exposed within the SwitchBot app such as the energy monitoring and controlling the LED. Aside from the configuration snafu in the beginning, this is shaping up to be a good 15A switch.

Great choice for someone owns a lot of electronics!!!
As an owner of both an electric bike and electric scooter, I’ve always been concerned about maintaining battery health. Like many people, I typically charged my devices overnight for convenience, but knew this constant overcharging wasn’t ideal for long-term battery performance. That’s when I discovered this smart plug with programmable charging features, and it’s completely changed how I manage my devices’ power needs. The ability to schedule precise charging cycles has been revolutionary. I can now set the plug to provide just 2-3 hours of charging when I only need a partial top-up, or program a full charge for times when I know I’ll need maximum range. This prevents unnecessary strain on the batteries from being kept at 100% charge for extended periods. The 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection works flawlessly with my home network, and I particularly appreciate the compatibility with Apple HomeKit and Alexa, allowing me to control charging through voice commands or automation. For anyone with multiple rechargeable devices – whether electric vehicles, smartphones, or other gadgets – this smart plug offers an intelligent way to extend battery lifespan without sacrificing convenience. It’s become an essential part of my nightly routine, ensuring my e-bike and scooter are always ready when I need them, without the worry of overcharging damage. The peace of mind knowing I’m optimizing my batteries’ health makes this one of my most worthwhile tech purchases recently.

A+++ | Plug & Play | Super simple integration with Apple HomeKit — No app download needed
Scan the QR code on the brick, plug the brick into whichever electrical socket you’re using, follow the two prompts, and you’re in, connected to Apple Home, no app download needed.Note that you may have to temporarily set your wi-fi network to 2.4 GHz, as is typical for pairing any new Smart device. If you’re not familiar with this process, try opening the app you use to connect with your wi-fi provider and look for something like “Set Up Smart Device on 2.4 GHz.” Mine is under the “Services” tab.

Awesome Smart Plug Thatâs a Total Win!
This SwitchBot smart plug mini is a breeze to useâplugs right into my outlet, connects to 2.4G WiFi, and works like a charm with Apple HomeKit, Alexa, and Google Home, no hub needed. The 15A capacity handles my high-power devices, and the energy monitorâs a cool way to track usage in the app. Remote control and timers let me schedule lights or appliances from anywhere, saving me trips to the switch. Itâs compact, doesnât hog space, and setup took minutes. Zero complaintsârock-solid build and seamless control make my smart home game unstoppable.Rating: ððððð (5.0 starsâpowers perfect, no skips!)

I need more of these!!!
Iâm using this one with Alexa to control my aquarium lights on a timer, and now Iâm wondering why I didnât do this sooner. Itâs super easy to set up, didnât need a hub, and worked right out of the box with my 2.4GHz WiFi. Iâve got my lights turning on and off like clockworkâeven if Iâm not homeâso the fish stay on their schedule and I donât have to think about it.The app is surprisingly good, and I like that it plays nice with Alexa, HomeKit, Google, and basically everything else. I havenât even scratched the surface with the geo-fencing or automation stuff yet, but now I want more of these for other random things around the house. Also, bonus points for being compactâdoesnât block the second outlet. Total win.

Easy to pair and customize behavior
Smart plugs are seriously the most versatile home accessory you can own because they have hundreds of uses and can turn almost anything into a smart device. For this specific plug, I am using it to control a wax warmer in my living room. I am always leaving it on all night and unintentionally wasting the wax melts by the time I realize it the next morning. I now have it scheduled to turn off each night, when I leave my home, and back on when I arrive again. I like this smart plug more than others because I can also monitor the energy consumption of my warmer or whatever else I end up using it for in the future. This is a little more expensive compared to others, but the HomeKit compatibility often costs more than others. But that makes it easier to pair, and hopefully last longer than the lower end products.
