Turn Device Off to Properly Disconnect 😀
What an outstandingly tiny yet powerful device!Setup and running in less than 3 minutes!Loud, clear music, podcasts, and audiobooks from the other side of the house!Like a set of ear buds out of their charger or external bluetooth speaker, this device, when on, will constantly seek out the bluetooth connection to you phone and connect every chance it gets, and has been confusing some people when they want to disconnect. This is intentional and by design. Most battery operated bluetooth devices stop searching for a signal after so long to preserve battery, but since this device is directly powered, it is always scanning for a bluetooth signal to connect to.I found that when I go into bluetooth settings and manually disconnect this device, it will reconnect within a minute or two, like a set of ear buds that are out of their case or external speaker that is on. And if the component home stereo system is off, all sounds and notifications are still being sent to the device and stereo, but because the stereo is off, one hears no sounds at all, just phone vibration when receiving a message or notification.To properly disconnect, you should hold the big M button down for 10 seconds and turn the device off, as if you were putting your ear buds back in their case until you intend to stream audio to your stereo again.Regarding comments on losing signal while walking around or distant from the receiver, I didn’t experience any drop outs after walking to the exact opposite diagonal corner of my house, with two the kitchen walls, electrical wiring, stove, microwave, and refrigerator directly between both devices. No issues, no dropouts. Your experience may vary.I though that the comment of using this device in one’s car to bypass disconnection to their car stereo system when delivery drivers walk away from their vehicle was brilliant.

Easy to setup and works great
I had this up an running on my old school receiver in less than a minute. Blasting tunes from my phone through my living room speakers. I knew what I was buying, so my gripes are not valid for this unit, but there are two features that I wish it had: 1. Remote. It would be awesome if I could turn this on and off with a remote control. 2. I think this gripe has more to do with my phone, but I wish it wouldn’t auto connect. My first gripe wouldn’t apply if I could just leave it on all the time, but since I don’t want my phone to always be connected to this (and it continuously connected every time), I have to turn it off. But, again, I knew what I was getting and it fits the bill nicely.

Great sound with efficient power usage
I’vecompared a fee units and this one stood out as having great sound and decent range. Easy to connect to. I like that it goes to sleep if no devices are connected and can be instantly activated with the push of a button. The way it shows the current song and provides physical buttons to skip tracks is very useful.

Great Little Unit
I had ordered a similar Bluetooth receiver via Amazon from a top competitor. After 12 days, the order had not been shipped. Amazon’s page indicated the receiver was In-Stock. When I finally reached customer service, I was told otherwise. I ordered the 1Mii and it not only arrived ahead of schedule… it included all necessary connecting cables (RCA x2, RCA x1, & Optical), clear, concise instructions and took longer to unpack than it took to set it up. Easy to use, great sound quality.

I need to make it clear right away that I have not been paid for this review, and I have not received any kick backs, nor have I been in communication with 1Mii in any way, shape or form. This is my honest review as a legitimate purchaser of this device.There aren’t a lot of options when it comes to purchasing a dedicated Bluetooth receiver that isn’t an all-in-one streaming device. There’s the popular Audioengine B1, the BluDento series (which essentially clone the B1) and then a few devices that include 1Mii devices. A friend of mine loaned me an Audioengine B1 for the day, and it sounded and performed exactly as I expected it would, which was great. That being said, I didn’t want to spend $300+ $CAD after tax for a device that hasn’t been updated in a long time. So the 1Mii DS220 seemed like it could be a decent middle of the road “compromise”.It’s not a compromise though. To my surprise, the audio quality easily matched if not beat the Audioengine B1, and at less than half the price. I am using an iPhone, which unfortunately limits Bluetooth streaming to 16-bit, 44.1kHz AAC streaming around 256kbps. That being said, the sound over Bluetooth is still incredible. If you own an Android device and subscribe to a service that offers higher bitrate formats including LDAC you’re going to be blown away.The construction is metal and feels sturdy. It has USB-C in, optical out, and RCA L&R outs. It’s lightweight, has a nice screen, pairs instantly, and that screen gives you a nice readout of the song metadata along with decoding data.It comes with literally every cable you could ask for. USB-C for connecting to a computer or dedicated streamer, optical cable, USB-A to barrel jack power cable (includes 5V, 1A brick), RCA cables and and RCA to 1/8th jack cable.For the price, it’s an insane value. Highly recommended.

Great unit. Using in social club. Linked to pa system meaning we don’t have to run leads everywhere on events such as race nights etc. Very good sound.

first of all I want to say that I am so impressed with the quality of the 1Mii Lavaudio DS220 , the chassis is made of metal and feels very sturdy and not cheap plastic which made this to me a well made product. Now for the sound, I have bought 2 1Mii Lavaudio DS220 one for my bedroom and the other one for my living room. One is connected to an Onkyo receiver and the other one to a Pioneer Receiver by optical cable . I have connected those by Bluetooth to a Fiio M11 LTD and FiioX5 III and let me tell you that the sound is so clear and clean. I can distinguish all the instruments on a song it feels so clean and pure .I think is much better than a CD quality. Overall I am very happy with my 1Mii Lavaudio DS220 Bluetooth adapters and I definitively I will recommend it .
