Mounting Method
1. Measure the distance between the 2 slots with the straight direction on the back of the power strip.
2. Punch 2 holes on the baseboard with the distance you just measured and insert two self-tapping screws.
3.Hang the power strip on the screws then pull it down a little to make sure the strip is tight.

First of all, the 5 widely spaced outlets are a lifesaver! Wow, I never realized that choosing a surge protector my new desk would be so tricky! I had recently purchased a cord organizer to stick to the bottom of my desk, to hide all of the unsightly cords. That product caused all kinds of issues, but this surge protector solved them.First of all, the outlets needed to face the proper direction. If you have a protector where the outlets face the other direction, this can be a problem if any of the plugs have large, fat boxes.Second, speaking of fat boxes, this protector had enough space between each of the outlet plugs that would accommodate the fat plugs. Not all surge protectors have this.Third, the cord needed to be the proper length. I didn’t want anything that was too short (for obvious reasons) but also too long, so I wouldn’t have a bunch of extra cord length hanging down.Fourth, I loved the braided cord which was the correct color, and it also allowed for flexibility in the placement of the surge protector.Fifth, it had slots to plug USB ports, which meant I didn’t need to waste any of my plugs with dongles for USBs.Sixth, if you liked all of these other things, hey, you get TWO surge protectors in the set. So I’m also using one next to my nightstand.It’s just a really good set, and I highly recommend!

Streamlined Design and Perfect Power Strip
I needed to replace our older power strips and wanted ones that would still offer a good surge protection, but also allow for USB plug in and have that slimline body that could go behind or under furniture. I love that the cord plug doesn’t stick out far and the cord comes from off to the side so the plug can go behind our bed that is tight to the wall. And, the cord length allows for this to be used further from the outlet source. It even has wall mounts if one wants that option. Has been working well for both regular cords and USB plugs. Not a bad price for this pair, either.

Not as thin as some other options
Overall it’s a power strip that offers all the needs of a power strip. The USB ports are also very convenient. My only complaint is that the plug is much thicker than others that I own. Was hoping for something that was slimmer for behind furniture.
