It works, but…
They replacement sticks work, but the fitment isnt 100% correct. I had an issue with the right stick going diagonal up/right. Feels like theres a lump or limit there.Still better than a broken stick i suppose.

They fit 100% into the PS Portal but they donât 100% fit the PS Portal. Right stick replaced. Left stick Factory. Easy to replace. Will get the job done

Simply and Easily fixed a broken Right stick
I bought this pair to replace a right broken stick that no longer worked up and down. This fix took me about 30 minutes and was relatively straightforward on the ifixit website. Despite some other reviews, this stick feels pretty natural and not sticky. Very happy with the purchase.

These work perfectly and feel great. Installing them is a bit of task but that has more to do with the Portal design than these replacement joy sticks. The response is good and feel like the originals. 5/5 stars!

Left stick drifts
The left joystick drifts to the right. Makes playing games more difficult.

I didnât like these because of the range of motion. With these sticks, the ROM is severely limited due to poor sizing. Cannot complete a full circle and it feels worse than it did with the original problem I had. I put the original, partially broken stick module back in my ps portal because it made it that much worse. Do not buy this if you want your stick to feel normal again!

The installation was straight forward and the part was drop-in compatible. The quality of the joystick is greatly lacking. The circular range of motion is limited in the 4 corners causing the radius to be more of a square than a full circle. Don’t get these if you want your joystick to feel normal after replacement. They are also lower than the original.
