Impressive little camera.
This is my 1st foray into using a body cam. This little camera is very impressive, the technology in this field has really come a long way, and quickly. This camera comes with good English instructions, I followed the steps and had this connected with my iPhone within 10 minutes. Itâs a bit of a learning curve, but now that Iâm use to it, I can connect it to my phone and start recording in under a minute. This has a really nice lanyard you can wear under your shirt and this will make a strong magnetic connection with it from over your shirt. This also has a clip on mount. The app is free, and covers most functions well. However, if you want to upload a video or picture, you have to pay for it in the app. You can however, upload files off of the mini sd card using a sd card reader. This includes a mini sd card and a SD card adapter. This camera and app can be used as a dash came, it will start recording in standby mode when a (selectable) impact occurs. You can have this in standby mode, ready to record all the time if you have it plugged into a power source.Recording in the highest 2160 resolution is glitchy. If you change the scenery quickly, it pauses for a second. Recording is smooth on 1080, which is all I need. I think this is a good value for what it offers at the under $60 price point.

Is it 4k, tho? Doubt it
I was looking forward to using this camera to start vlogging. When I opened the box and saw and felt the camera, I got excited as it felt & looks like good quality. (nicely built & durable). I then recorded my first video and it wasnt til I did a playback that I was very disappointed.Very grainy for a 4k video. This would be good for a child / teenager or those who are just now starting to vlog but I would never use it for my vlogging. The app frustrated me. very vague and you have to pay for some features. No thanks.

Frustrating App and Mediocre Video for the Money
The Jinpei 4K Mini Action Camera (JS-10B) appears to be a great deal on paper: compact, wearable, with a 64GB card included, and featuring a cool magnetic clip system. And to its credit, the physical design and build quality are actually solid. It feels sturdy and well-made, which is more than I expected at this price point. However, once you start using it, the cracks become apparent quickly. The video quality is very underwhelming, especially in anything but bright daylight. Low-light performance is poor, with grainy footage and washed-out colors that really donât live up to the â4Kâ label. And while it may be suitable for casual daytime clips or a quick pet walk vlog, it falls short for anything where quality is a concern. The biggest issue, though, is the app. It was difficult to connect (you have to press the button twice to activate Wi-Fi mode, which isnât clearly explained), and the app itself is slow, glitchy, and overall poorly designed. Even worse, some features are locked behind a paid upgrade, which feels like a bad joke on a $50+ device thatâs already lacking in video performance.Battery life is average (about two hours), and the included 64GB memory card is a nice touch, but it doesnât make up for the frustrating software experience and subpar image quality.Bottom line: it feels well-built, but the performance and app experience donât justify the price. You can find better value elsewhere.

Fast startup. Easy operation. Low quality 4K30. Excellent mounts. Webcam mode is compromised.
Fast startup, a few seconds. Easy operation: long press on and off, single press to record/stop, and double tap for WiFi mode.Camera magnet can barely hold it on a vertical surface. The lanyard necklace has its own magnet. It is made to put behind a shirt so the camera just floats on your shirt. It works awesome. Additionally there is a clip mount, a flat spot on the base, and a little lanyard hole.On a full charge I managed to record 94 minutes. You can record with a power source attached.Video is 4k30. I didn’t notice any stabilization. There is a date and time stamp in the bottom right (optional). The lens field of view is around 115° or 120°. Files default to 3 minutes long, but can be 1 to 9. If you fill the card up it will start erasing the oldest files to make room.Clarity is a little worse than I would expect from 4K video. It seems like the chip isn’t really meant to handle 4K, and they compromised on the bitrate (10-15 megabit/s). Even though the output is 4K30, it appears more like decent 1080p, or maybe 1440p. It does make for small file sizes, about 95 megabytes per minute. The camera has a webcam mode (attach to a PC with no SD card). The camera warns the user there is no SD card by vibrating every 2 seconds. Nobody bothered to disable that feature, so the webcam is super obnoxious (plus the front LEDs blink). Output is 1920×1080 30FPS in MJPEG format. It can also do YUYV (lossless), but framerate is limited.Mine came with a retail pack ADATA Micro SD card. It has good read speeds (96 MB/s), but only about 20 MB/s writes. ADATA claims 25 MB/s for cards in this series. It was formatted ExFAT. The camera can act as a card reader, but it is super slow, about 13 MB/s reads. The manual mentions editing a time file to configure the file length and timestamp, but I couldn’t get it to work. I ended up using the android app to modify the config. Still no file created, but it works. The app (Viidure) seems geared toward it acting like a dashcam. It starts recording as soon as the app connects. It has features for downloading files, live view, speed monitoring (phone GPS based), and map navigation. It sounds like it can record a GPS track and sync it with the video, but I didn’t try it. Connection is WiFi based. It asks for location, and bluetooth permissions. This device has a poor USB C implementation. I found some of my USB C PD chargers will charge it, but most would not. It also would not activate when attached to my laptop’s USB C ports. It can get a little warm in operation, about 125°F (51°C).== Build and Internals ==The camera weighs 39g. There’s a silicone flap over the SD and USB ports. Inside the port area is a single screw, then the two halves are clipped together.Inside I noted:800mAh battery 2.96Wh LiPo cellMain SoC is Novatek NT96675MBG.WiFi is Realtek 8189FTV module (2.4GHz 802.1b/g/n).I didn’t see a marking on the camera module.

Great for lights, camera, action
From Hiking Trails to Mystery ShopsâThis Cam Does It AllI got this for hiking since Iâm big into the outdoors and hate fumbling with my phone just to catch something cool. Whether itâs a surprise animal or a sudden weather change, things happen fast out there. With this wearable camera, I just clip it. This is a simple camera that does what it says on the advertisement.
