Ok but, it’s needs an app
This is a bit of a hard review to write. One one hand, there’s the camera and the hardware that it comes with, on the other, there’s the software (app) that you need to fully use it.The camera is pretty cool. It’s small (really small) which is super handy. And it comes with some nice typical camera mount hardware including this really nice magnet on a lanyard. That works great if you just want to carry your camera around and maybe stop to take some videos every now and then. The video footage is pretty good. Not high end stuff but plenty good for taking this snorkeling (yes it comes with a water proof housing) or using at the dog park or something.But the problem is, it’s really just an on/off video camera with no other functions unless you down load the app software. And that to me seems sketchy. But to each his own and I won’t ding this product for my reluctance to down load some software I don’t trust.

Solid 4K Action Camera
I had already reviewed one of these, but I guess I forgot I had ordered one beforehand, as here’s a new one at my doorstep! Well, let’s see what’s going on!This is the same action camera as the one I reviewed, but with the 64GB SD card instead of 128. It was simple to find with my already-installed Viidure app from the prior camera, and this time I have a decent amount of audio experience from the prior camera, so I can actually speak about the okay sound quality in this review. The unit picks up audio well from all around if you’re in an enclosed space like a vehicle, but outdoors, someone almost directly behind you is almost inaudible at normal speaking volumes. There is a minor hollow tone to the sound but overall it isn’t bad and everything is still understandable if it has been adequately picked up by the microphone. The battery life varies depending on your chosen video recording resolution and settings. You can set recording time length from 3 minutes to 9 minutes, both for nonstop and loop recording (after your chosen time elapses the file is saved and a new one auto-created to keep the recording going, or overwritten in the case of loop recording once it reaches the end of your card’s data storage.)The picture quality is good in light shade to open sunlight, and gets noisier and grainier as you get darker, but it does have a point at which it stops. Functionality is otherwise great, and the usual included attachments like shell case, magnetic pendant, clip shell, and more make this a solid addition for people trying to record some quick moments.Oh, and the impact detection is great. For example, if you end up having to take a bit of a dive while on some rocks or underground, it’ll instantly dump to the SD card before continuing to record juuuuuuust in case.Snag one! (Not all accessories shown in my photo.) Clip it to your visor as a functional dashcam. It’ll record while charging, too!

Unusable, Poor Quality, Would not pair with any of my phones!
I was looking forward to using this camera when biking. What a disappointment!The build quality is poor. Feels very cheap.The app is poor and wouldn’t connect to the camera.Unusable!

Works, but a clear hack job.
This is clearly a dash cam refitted into a body camera/ action camera housing. The accompanying app is literally a dash cam app. Now does that make it any less functional? No. But I do wish the company put a little more effort into their product. Knowing itâs just a repurposed product makes me feel like Iâm not getting something that someone put any amount of effort into. I do appreciate the ingenuity, but I donât know if itâs worth picking up. It does work as advertised, it comes with lots of accessories and is fairly easy to use? But the battery life sucks. I gotta play with it more to be sure? But already I can say, thereâs better options out there.

Easy to use after setup
Iâve never had a camera like this, so it was a little tricky for my initial setup. Just needed a little patience on my part before I figured out what I was doing wrong.Download the app BEFORE plugging in the camera to charge or turning it on. Then connect your phone to the cameraâs Wi-Fi to complete setup. It automatically tries to start recording once plugged in or turned on. Also included through the app are some editing features and a profile setup.The video seemed a little dark but that could simply be my house. Hopefully itâs brighter outside. Overall, the videos and pictures were good and clear. The microphone picks up near by sounds much clearer than 3-5 feet away but its still audible. I havenât had a chance to test out the battery life but Iâm hoping to this weekend. Iâll try to update at some point.There are quite a few accessories included with this little camera that allow you to use it in several situations. I will say, use caution when unpacking the accessories. Had I dumped everything out at once instead of pulling them out one-by-one, I mightâve lost the micro SD card that came with it. Itâs possible it fell out of one of the many baggies, but it would be a real setback if it had been lost.I canât wait to get out there and test it out for real.
