Does the job, but they may be slower than you want.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:They light up and they do their job but they are SLOW, so if you have to upload something quickly, these may not be the thumb drives for you. They performed their job for my uses, but it may be worth a couple extra bucks for the speed. For instance, if I upload with an SSD, the file may take 2 minutes, with these thumb drives, that same file may take 8 minutes. Another file uploaded with my portable SSD may be instantanious (no waiting) but with these thumdrives you may be waiting as long as 20 seconds. Like I said, they get the job done and they light up and they are recognized by your operating system fairly quickly, but depending on the file size and what’s in it, you might be waiting a little longer than you expected. For most people that’s not necessarily a bad thing, which is why the 4 stars out of 5.Â

Ripoff if you need the LED. LED on the black one is not visible.
I got these because I need memory sticks WITH LED INDICATORS. The LED is not visible on the blue or the black units, so right away two of the five are useless. I don’t know if the dark coating is too thick to show light or if they left the LEDs out of the dark colored ones to save a penny. Either way its a ripoff.
