My favorite investment for exploring!!
Gets mistaken for a GoPro, great quality videos, easy settings, small enough to bring with me everywhere, mp4 files, holds 256gb (haven’t tried higher), waterproof case is good (audio not very loud with case on but fine without a case or mic plugged in), cam battery runs( only for a couple to a few hours so good thing there’s 2 and they charge fairly quickly even with a portable solar charger. It records in increments of ~13 mins nonstop recording (incase battery dies, you dont lose your entire journey; you only lose that one segment). I got a set of straps, etc from Luxbell and love the variety so makes the camera super fun. One thing to note is if you change out the battery and sd card at the same time, the camera forgets the datestamp you’d put in so go reset it or it’ll default to 01/01/2023. The camera is definitely worth it. I’ve recommended it to several people. I use it for my YT channel and have had the camera 2 years now with no issues or malfunction.

This thing is freaking cool. Iâm sure thereâs better, more expensive ones⦠BUT, Iâve never had anything like this before, so Iâm a grateful grateful man right now. I think itâs awesome. I think itâs a good alternative to a GoPro for a lot less money.
Set up is pretty straightforward just follow the instructions. Took about 30 minutes once the batteries were charged. Downloaded the app and had it connected in just a few minutes so far everything worked perfectly.

I don’t know if other people feel the same way. But I can tell you first night that this camera for the cost is fantastic. I have a snorkeled with it. I’ve used it on my helmet when I ride my bike. All the way around for the money this thing is a banger. Well worth every penny

Very low audio quality
There is no such thing as affordable quality. You get what you pay for. The internal microphone on this camera has very low audio quality and most third party external mics will not work with this camera because of proprietary wiring. Akaso has designed it so that only their external microphones will work and they also have very low audio quality. If I were to be able to go back in time before buying this camera, I would tell myself to just spend the extra money and get a decent camera.
