Cheap for the price (and don’t worry, it’s legit lol)

Works fine for the price. Good video quality. Not the best sound pickup.
The camera reset all settings including the time and date anytime you have to swap the battery. The instructions do not tell you the max SD card you can use, on the website it just says “…” I figure 3 dots meant it could handle at least 128gb, curious if it can handle 512gb. However I am currently using a 128GB SD card without issue so far. Also, you MUST format the card anytime you use it or the files get all mixed up and it may not actually be saving new videos. For the price I cannot be too upset. I just use it as a safety precaution on my motorcycle if anything happens ill have proof of a wreck or other… The battery last about 1 hour 15 mins constantly running on 720p 30fps with screen saver active. The speaker on the device is pointless. The waterproof case is decent, no leaks while getting stuck in heavy rain. Also is can only record in continuous mode or in 10 minute clips, which there was some confusion online and the manual online.

Leaky case
Other Akaso cameras that I’ve owned didn’t have a leaky case. This one leaks and fogs up after about five minutes at a depth of less than 2 feet. Other than that, the camera works great.

A big dissappointment
I read the positive comments and purchased last week. At first sight , it was looking very good it came with fancy box within several mounting accessories even more than i expected. But when it comes to recording quality i cant say nice things about it. Before i record my first video , i had already changed the quality for the best which is stated (1080p). But when i watched it on PC it was 360p quality which is not satisfactory at all and also the vibrations in the video are very noticeable and it ruins the memories recorded. And also battery life is so short even just only last about half an hour maybe mine is broken idk , furthermore i had troubles when i attemp to connect Wifi-Direct.
