About the Author

Jeff Smith ended up in Las Vegas via Ohio, New Mexico, and other stops in the Southwest. He’s lived in Las Vegas for more than 20 years working as a crime scene investigator and responding to more than 4,000 crime scenes. His favorite authors include Stephen King, John Sandford, and Michael Connelly.
