Great budget tablet but consider upgrading and screen protector
I recommended this budget tablet to my daughter for my 8 year old grandson who was going on an extended vacation where the risk of damage or loss was greater than normal. He is thrilled with the tablet but there are a couple of things you may want to consider. The memory is 6 gb of ram and 12 gb of virtual memory. You can google virtual memory for a technical explanation. Virtual memory is slower than Ram memory and the tablet did considerable lagging when there were many open applications. Closing the apps solved the problem. You may wish to consider purchasing the next model up for $20 more that has memory of 8 gb of Ram and 16 gb of virtual plus additional better specs and accessories. If he had not been going on a trip, I would have recommended the slightly better tablet.I also noticed the screen (which seems like plastic??) is getting scratched up after a short time. I also recommend you consider purchasing a screen protector.

Recently I got this 10-inch tablet, with the 18GB ram, this tablet’s performance is amazing!! It runs fast and no interruption for watching videos on YouTube. It is easy to carry and set up, I can use it to do my workout in my bed room, living room, even in my back yard! It is much better than a phone with the big screen.
