Excellent camera and Value limited video event to 4 GB
I purchased the camera to use in Vintage racing in my Formula Ford. In the car the camera performed magnificently. The video quality was simply excellent. Everything was in focus from close, reading the gauges, and distant items were clear. Sound quality with the external mic was also good. The only issue the camera would stop recording at 4GB (10-15 minutes depending on video resolution) reset and then start recording again, missing a few minutes. I contacted Apexcam customer support and they were very responsive and helpful. The 4 GB is a camera limit and canât be changed. Other than this I am extremely impressed with how well this camera performed. Apexcam and their customer service have been excellent. If the video file limit isnât a concern for you then I highly recommend this action camera.

Not a GoPro, but close.
If we consider GoPros to be the pinnacle of action cameras, say a 10/10, then this Apexcam is probably somewhere between a 7 or 8 out of 10.What holds it back is it’s image quality – GoPros are just unmatched in this regard and they offer options and quality that this 4K Apexcam can’t match.However, I am not saying that the quality is bad, just that it’s not as good. As I said, 8/10 easily. Which, if you’re doing the math in your head for quality over price, puts the Apexcam in a very sensible position.I’ve used the Apexcam cam several times so far and it’s performed great and, over all, I am very happy with this purchase.

I LOVE this action camera!
I bought this camera for scuba diving. It works great. I took it down 99 feet deep. Even with scuba gloves on I could easily work all function buttons. The video in this review was taken with this camera. The camera has 4k ability, but I recorded at 1080p 60fps. At this frame rate I can record well over an hour on a single battery and a 128GB SD card holds about 7 hours 45mins for me. Videos look great on my phone and laptop. Excellent value too. I could have rented a camera from the dive shop for $40. Instead, I now own a great camera for not much more. Very happy!

Is what it is
It does not take as clear as the pictures as the photos in the description lead you to believe but for its price point it is OK. The viewing screen is not clear at all. It has a lot of distortion but when viewing the pictures on a phone they are a little more clear, but it is not clear enough to read a picture of a piece of paper with words typed on it, even large words. It’s okay for a landscape shot, I have other 20mp cameras that are extremy more clear. When taking a picture the view screen is so distorted you can’t tell if you are in focus or not. To me it is not as advertised and I’m not one to leave bad reviews, maybe I got a lemon but I would not buy again and would not recommend this brand to anyone, kinda feel like it was a waste of money

The action camera is fantastic. It also has a flip mode that allows you to hang the camera upside down. I only wish there was a way to mute the sound recording.

Kamera ist sehr gut verarbeitet und alle Funktionen sind wie in der Beschreibung vorhanden.Inbetriebnahme ist total einfach. Akku einsetzen, einschalten, Auslöser drücken.Für weitere Einstellungen oder Finetuning gibt es ein übersichtliches Menü, welches auf dem kleinen Bildschirm gut zu lesen ist.Es ist einiges an Zubehör dabei, aber z.B. ein kleines “Affenstativ” oder einen Selfistick muss man sich noch kaufen.Die Fernbedienung fürs Handgelenk ist top, allerdings ist das Klettband nur für dünne Unterarme geeignet.Ein erster Wasserkontakt im Pool verlief positiv, Gehäuse ist dicht.Mit einer schnellen Micro-SD Karte sind 4k60fps mit eingeschaltetem Bildstabilisator kein Problem.Video mit 120fps geht jedoch nur mit ausgeschaltetem Stabi. Kann sein das das mit einer 3x so teuren Kamera geht, aber das kann auch nicht der MaÃstab sein.Bei ersten Tests war alles Top, die endgültige Bewährungsprobe erfolgt dann im nächsten Urlaub.Fazit:Preis, Leistung ist superFunktionsumfang für den Normalbürger völlig ausreichend

Bought as a gift. The recipient says the image is very stable and good quality but battery life could definitely be better. It comes with a spare battery though so that helps to mitigate it. Also comes with great accessories that are probably all you could want or need.

Super caméra on peu l utiliser pour plein de chose je l utilise principalement quand je fait du vélo ou moto mais je l est également poser sur une table le jour de mon mariage et j ai retrouver une super vidéo de fin de soirée elle est très pratique parcque très simple d utilisation super intuitive un mode photo un mode vidéo et un mode paramètre donc super simple en plus elle est livrée avec beaucoup d accessoires comme vous pouvez le voir sur les photos et surtout de batterie très utile lors des longues balades franchement vu le prix et l équipement fourni je recommende vivement sans oublié une résolution 4k a couper le souffle bon il faut investir dans une super carte micro sd qui coûte un peu cher pour au final avoir un super produit .
