Best computer Iâve ever owned! Fast reliable, easy to use! I use mine for straining activities like editing video it works absolutely perfect perfectly. Itâs well worth what you pay for it. I could not recommend buying one of these more.

What can you say about an Apple product? They’re beautiful (even the boxing is elegant) (although excessive) & dependable. I’m transitioning away from PC products (still love MSOffice 365) & so find some things frustrate me cause they don’t work the way I’m used to. But a quick google shows a work around or simple settings change to make it behave the way I want. Perfect!

In love with Mac!
Fantabulous and a big fan of my Mac!! The color options are a plus as well as the no hassle to set up and use. A bit of a bummer is the small size keyboard as I prefer the normal size one and the mouse does not have an option to right click or left click which makes it easier to copy/highlight etc. instead of having to click on edit each time. Aside from these minor details, the Mac I so love!

Perfecto!! I LOVE this computer. Easy delivery and set up was simple. It replaced my old Mac. The only negative is the ports in the back. I can’t plug in anything and had to buy a hub for my other things to work otherwise, this thing is heaven!!

The new iMac will not disappoint
This iMac is a replacement for my older iMac computer–it is a great update. There are a few disappointments with the new iMac, however. Many of my accessories run through USB ports….the new iMac doesn’t have any USB ports. So that forces purchasing dongles to convert to the new lightening ports or purchasing a hub that accepts the older iterations of USB. So that is the only criticism I have with this iMac. I like the speed of the SSD but again many of the configurations offer 256G of resident storage. So to satisfy the necessary additional storage, you have to purchase an external device. That is exactly what I did. I purchased a hub that also allowed a variety of SSD cards to be integrated and serve as additional storage. Both integrated seamlessly and have performed without any hiccups. So there are easy workarounds for the new configuration of the iMac and reasonably priced.

The new M4 iMac
This would likely be a 5 Star review, but since I transferred a large amount of very old data from my old computer, I’ve been having issues. I don’t know if the issues are related to the new OS or if the issues stem from my browsers or from certain websites. What’s frustrating is I can’t get any answer from anyone, anywhere, so I suppose I’m taking it out on the new iMac. That said, it’s an impressive new machine. Just be prepared to purchase USB A to USB C adapter(s) so you can connect your external devices to the new Thunderbolt C ports.

Checks all the boxes
I bought this 2024 24″ M4 to replace a 2017 intel-based iMac that, frankly, was a dog. It never seemed “right.” I’ve been a Mac user since 1986 and the intel-based Mac was the worst performer I’ve had. This M4 iMac blows the doors off the old machine. It’s pretty awesome. It’s fast, responsive and nimble. (Sounds like I’m describing a car). To be fair, the 2017 model was underpowered with only 8 GB of RAM. I bumped this one to 16 GB of RAM and it shows. I’m a little concerned about the lack of storage (512 GB SSD) but I’ve off-loaded my pictures and a lot of other stuff to iCloud and I back-up religiously to a 2TB external drive. Going forward I’m going to be more vigilant about clearing the junk off this machine, too.Mac’s are not cheap but I’ve never had one die. I bet if I plugged in my old SE 20 from ’86 it would boot up. That’s value.I’m brand loyal, so if I get a product that performs above my expectations, I’m in. Some people don’t want to be tied to Apple’s ecosystem and I get that but I’m willing to put up with some minor annoyances to get products (desktops, laptops, phones, tablets, etc.) that function up to, and beyond, my expectations. If you know, you know.Not sure yet if this is a great machine but so far, it’s checking all the right boxes.

Comes with no instructions – not even alist of parts. It took forever to figure out how to open the box without ripping.I figured everything was on the website right away but even just a basic quick start would be helpful. I kept wondering why not one piece of paperwork?

I loved my old iMac which had an elegant 27″ screen. That suddenly got extremely slow after Christmas. I bought the new iMac with 24″ screen. It is much lighter but is not that elegant looking. There is no Apple icon in front.It was easy to set up. There are some new things it comes with, I am still getting used to all the automatic messages which appear on the screen. With the new iMac, the old printer did not work, I had to buy a new printer too. Hopefully, I am set up for the next 10 years.
