Not what I expected
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I needed a personal laptop.  Still have a traditional desktop and needed to be able to do a photo slideshow for my daughter’s sweet 16.   When I researched this item on Amazon it said it was on an excellent condition.Laptop quality:Unable to charge the laptop, had to put it on its side.

First off I would like to start with saying I am beyond pleased, I ordered this computer and read the reviews after the fact and got a little worried, there were a lot of bad reviews I saw and I didn’t know if I should’ve belived them because I have ordered a couple of renewed Apple products off of Amazon before and had no issues. Here is my experience: (I ordered excellent condition for $299) when I got it came bubble wrapped, with a charger and with a “case” (a computer sticker skin). I didn’t need to plug it in it was already charged and I turned it on and set it up, I did run into a problem accepting the terms of service, you have to go back and press set up I cloud later in order to accept the terms, I added my I cloud after the fact, I texted people and FaceTimed time to make sure it worked and it did (sound and camera quality is great) , everything on my phone transferred over immediately contacts, photos, Apple Music, recent messages everything! I didn’t know you couldn’t download apps like Netflix and YouTube, you have to search up the website online sign into it and then set it up as a shortcut and as you can see in my last picture I have everything added into my bar and I turned the computer off and back on to make sure it didn’t sign me out,so far I’ve had no issues with battery drainage it has been open for a long time and barely went down, I also switched over the default browser to chrome to make it easier to use for school you can download that online as well, the only thing wrong with it to my knowledge is the tiny tiny dot on the screen (second pic) it turns black when it’s on and white when it’s turning off and I really don’t care about it I paid $300 and these computers go for over $1000 so I could really care less, overall I love this so much and I’m glad I bought it, it is an amazing deal and really recommend it for anyone wanting one

Piece of garbage
I got this refurbished. I have had multiple problems since I got this. The keys are not working properly. The touch screen is not working. Then the battery is not staying charged. I work at a school and I purchased this so I could stop using my school district issued chrome book. It is sad for me to say that the school district issued chrome book is working better than this is. I also purchased a protection plan and they are refusing to fix this under the warranty. They are telling me that if I want them to fix it that I will need to pay for it and it will cost at least $400. I did not even spend $400 for the thing to begin with so I refuse to spend at least that amount to get it fixed. I have contacted the seller multiple times and have not heard back. The address they gave is a bogus address in Texas. Then I looked online and there is no phone number that I can find. I finally told them that if I do not hear back within a certain time frame that I am going to my bank to file a fraud complaint. Then file a complaint with consumer protection. I feel scammed out of my money.

OK, but definitely not like new
The product visually looks like new, but does not perform like new as far as battery life or transferring photos. If you don’t want the quirks of an older macbook, then don’t buy. Charging issues were noticed from the start. I have used macbooks for over a decade for work. Usually when you plug in a dead mac, it boots up as soon as you plug it in. Not this one. The charging cord that came with it was touchy at first, and then within a month it obviously has a short in it and I can see sparks when the cord is moved close to the charging head. It no longer works and I would return it except I threw away all the packaging. My error. And of course, it uses a different charger than my other macbooks! For what I bought it for, it will be fine but I am not convinced it was a great buy.

El equipo hasta la fecha sigue funcionado al 100. Después de un año de usarlo como equipo principal para diferentes proyectos no ha tenido ninguno detalle y tiene un excelente rendimiento para la antiguedad del equipo. Solo he tenido un pequeño detalles con el cargador (no es original) ya que a veces no detecta el cargador y se caliente bastante pero no me ha dado ningun problema. Excelente adquisicion

Me ayudó mucho revisar las reviews de los demás, depende de lo que estas buscando.Hasta el momento me ha funcionado muy bien y para mi trabajo esta ideal.Estéticamente trae detalles como ligeros raspones y un una leve abertura en la parte inferior izquierda.Cuenta con cargador genérico.El teclado es americano.Los ciclos de la batería es de 214.Fuera de los detalles esteticos me ha funcionado muy bien y corre los programas con rapidez.Ha sido mi mejor inversión.
