Excellent computer for the price
So far so good. This laptop meets my needs as an everyday home computer. I like the screen size and full keyboard. The setup process was easy and getting things finalized went smoothly. The only complaint I have is that I’m not impressed by the myASUS app. Setting up this app required multiple sign ins and email checks. This seemed unnecessarily complex.

Very good quality
I bought this laptop about 9 months ago so far its been working perfectly a full charge lasts for about 2 to 3 hours. The keyboard is very easy to use. When I go on websites it’s loadings very fast.

Initial review as of first day’s use: It seems like a good laptop computer. The screen is okay, seems clear and bright. I like that the hinge seems tight and quality. The keys on the laptop are well spaced and feel good to type on. I haven’t had any issues using they keyboard expect that there is no keyboard backlight. The listing advertises that it has a backlit keyboard – it does NOT.The sticker on the bottom of the laptop where it has the serial number states the model number is F515EA-WS31.I verified that the laptop has 8 GB RAM as expected, and 128 GB SSD. FYI after setting up the initial user account and installing some Windows Updates and a different web browser, the SSD has free space of 74.6 GB.I don’t care for Windows 11, but at least I have a working computer. I am pleased with it’s performance so far. It’s just what I needed.I will update this review with how long the battery lasts. I set up the computer on battery power right out of the box. It wasn’t until I was in my new Windows user account before I could see the battery percentage. It was at 30%!The charging cable isn’t what I expected to see. It is a one-piece cord with an attached brick. I expected to see the two piece annoying-to-use charging cord. I like this style much better!I don’t know if the USB-C port allows for charging while turned off. I will test that out and add that to the updated review at a later date.

BITLOCKER RECOVERY KEY BLUE SCREEN
What is the point of Bitlocker Recovery Key if the recovery key doesn’t unlock? Had nothing but issues with this computer. Started out great, but didn’t even have it a week and the blue screen of death kept popping up. Customer support was not much help either. Returned and still waiting on refund.

Great computer for a really great price!
I absolutely love this laptop. It’s nothing fancy but it has all the features I was looking for. The backlit keyboard was a must for me but *most* brands tack on an extra $200 – $300 for this feature. And the fingerprint recognition super exceeds the one on my previous HP computer, which NEVER worked properly; this one has never failed. I’m not sure how it would stack up for business use, but for everyday use – it’s very fast and the graphics are really great. I’ve only had it for a few weeks, but so far – so good!

Me costó un poco más de 10,000 pesos mexicanos (menos de 500 usd) por esa cantidad no se puede exigir mucho, pero muy contento con la compra, se siente hecha de materiales con buena calidad, juy fluida para aplicaciones de SIG y autocar, el único punto débil es su calidad de imagen no es muy buena

La computadora se siente de alta gama, el sensor de huellas funciona rapidisimo, gracias al SSD al prender la computadora tarda al rededor de 5 segundos en estar lista para usarse! Mucho mejor computadora de lo que esperaba, Vale cada peso del precio!

Llevo más de medio año de uso, y ha resultado ser una buena compra, es realmente ligera para llevarla a cualquier lado, también abre las aplicaciones de forma rápida, el único detalle es que tiene muy poca capacidad asà que todo se almacena en la nube.El lector de huella resulta muy práctico y funcional para el inicio de sesión.

El espacio del nvme lo vi algo bastante corto, de hecho lo primero que hice fue cambiarlo po otro nvme, un WD Green de 480 gb ya que si iba por una unidad SSD convencional me iba a salir mas caro el adaptador flex para hdd/ssd que NO incluye el equipo +una unidad SSD de menor capacidad que el terminé comprando, en cuanto a Linux, Kubuntu va como la seda y las teclas de función se comportan igual de bien que en Windows, incluso hasta el teclado retroiluminado funciona sin problemas, en cuanto al audio la caracterÃstica de Sonic Master y el software DTS hacen un buen equipo al mejorar sustancialmente la experiencia de sonido, la pantalla es Full HD 1920×1080, de la memoria RAM puedo decir que de momento los 8gb que trae son suficientes para programación, En cuanto a las temperaturas puede ser algo incomodo el ruido y el calor que genera el ventilador del equipo, esto sólo ocurre en casos puntuales como por ejemplo cuando el procesador esta al 100% de uso descargando los updates de Windows, de todas maneras la mayor parte del tiempo el equipo apenas y hace ruido.
