I wasn’t familiar with the company selling this ssd, but I learned they are a U.S. based small family business so at this point I was more then happy to make the purchase. I love that I was able to order it pre-formatted for whatever I needed it for, in this case to expand my son’s PS4 memory. So simple just plug it in by 3.0 usb or reverse for 2.0(good thinking). All I had to do was plug it in came right up under storage and no issues have been found at this time. Seems like a great product and again 1tb for under $40 is a steal. Also thank you Amazon again for helping support American bases small businesses so that way we can always choose to support or own first!

I have an older ps4 that only had 500 GB memory, which if you have a ps4 is not a lot of memory as games take a lot of space. I looked for external hard drives (since I didn’t want to touch the insides). S far this has worked like a charm. It directly connects to the USB port on the front of the ps4, and it is very easy in the ps4 menu to move games from the internal ps4 into the external hard drive. It does not require any formatting to work, and worked right out of the box. It’s relatively quiet as well, and only has a slight humming noise that is usually unnoticeable

Donât waste your money
Didnât use for a few months until I bought a new game and needed the space for my PS4. connected and was able to install the game on it no problem. However, if you slightly moved it it would disconnect and would require repair. This happened maybe twice and now it doesnât recognize it at all. When the device is connected it says this device cannot be used. Try unplugging and plugging it in again. Canât get it to work. Been a complete waste of money and download time having to reinstall my game since the drive is worthless. Got maybe three weeks of use out of it total. Very disappointedâ¦

Stop… you found it. If you’re reading this comment that means you were looking for a hard drive for probably your PS4 or other device. This external hard drive works really well and comes out the box ready to go. Worth it and won’t disappoint.

No complaints
I handed this thing to my teenager for his PS4. Afterwards, I did not see him for four hours. I believe it works. He was able to reload games. He says the games play much better it and very compatible with his PS4.

Nice and easy all you do is hook it up and it automatically syncs up to your system. I have not had any problems with it worth the money. I bought a 3 TB plug-in version. Same brand for my PS five works great.
