Customers say
Customers find the power strip works well and appreciate its Belkin quality, considering it good value for a 6-outlet model. They like the rotating plug feature, with one customer noting how it flattens against the wall. The surge protection and cord length receive mixed feedback – while some praise the surge protection, others find it unclear, and while some appreciate the cord length, others say it’s not long enough. Durability is also mixed, with some finding it durable while others report it breaking on first use, and mountability is problematic as there are no mounting options available.

Perfect solution to a common problem
Power strips that have low profile plugs are fairly easy to find these days, but it’s a lot more difficult to find one where the cord leaves the plug in the direction you need it to. This solves that problem. you can turn the prongs on the plug and any direction you need them to go. And it doesn’t hurt that the design is attractive and appears to be fairly sturdy. I’ve been using mine for over a month at this point and I’m very happy with it.

Works great on battery side of UPS
Works great plugging into a ups to expand the battery backup to modem, router and switch. Non surge needed on battery side.

Great Plug!
Really happy with this power strip. The flat plug design is great for tight spaces, and I love that it rotatesâit makes it super easy to fit behind furniture. Itâs well-made and does exactly what I need without being bulky. Would definitely recommend!

Power Switch Does Not Light
This is exactly what I was looking for, with one exception. The power switch does not light when in the “ON” position, which is an inconvenience. I was mislead by the fact that the power switch is red in color. Yes, I know very well what happens when we “assume” It would be nice if the description could be changed to let other “assumers” know they shouldn’t expect a light. Other than that, this is a good and inexpensive power strip. Update: On an online chat with a Belkin representative, I was told that the power switch did NOT have a light. But in answer to my question here on the Amazon page, The Belkin company replied that it DOES have a light on the power switch. It would be helpful if a model number was included in Amazon’s description so that we could get a definitive answer.

Power bar
We got these cause the house doesnât have many outlets for everything to plug into. Will be ordering more when we need more. They are durable, the size is just right and works well.

new travel power strip
needed and travel power strip. with all the electronic gear 4 people carry with us on trips now days. wanted to keep all our equipment in one are instead of spread out through a house or hotel room on travel. unit has worked great no issues. handles all the loads we have put it through and the outlets are wide enough for different type of power adapters we have.

The best choice for a UPS battery backup
This Belkin 6-outlet power strip works well to extend the outlets of a UPS battery backup. Functionally a simple power tap with a breaker (no surge protection circuit , no noise filtration circuit), it is one type of device that will not interfere with a UPS battery backup’s noise filtration circuitry. Thus it is, in my opinion, the best choice for a home environment — the alternative is an ideal, high dollar datacenter PDU (power distribution unit). I use the Belkin strip in my home office to extend the UPS outlets to fit extra power bricks of network devices and USB chargers. For advice on using a surge protector with an UPS, APC publishes a FAQ article titled “Using surge strips with APC’s Back-UPS and Smart-UPS products”.

A good choice when you need a power strip that is not a surge suppressor
You really should not plug a surge suppressor power strip into a UPS. This non surge suppressor power strip works well for me with a UPS, adding additional UPS protected outlets for the many low current devices attached to my TV like firestick, HDMI splitters and convertors, etc. The off/on switch does not light up when set to the On position, which is fine for my needs.

Nice little extension that works. No issues found yet. It would be nice if cord was a little longer and with angle plug but it’s still ok for me.

for my purposes it works great. however, the onoff switch does NOT light up at all. seeing as the cheap crap power bars are like $8 (unless you go dollar store which I wouldn’t recommend) it’s worth the price. I’ve had it plugged in for almost 12 hours now and it doesn’t heat up at all… other than the switch not indicating onoff with lighting up, pretty goodUPDATE! it does heat up a bit (almost like you blew into your hands to warm them) if you have high drain devices plugged in… with one of those “mp3” clocks and a walmart honeywell smaller fan (tried different ones) plugged in at the same time it does (not to the point of burning though)… also tried different outlets…. would still recommend though as it is cheaper than “monster”
