Perfect gateway to FPV!
If you’ve never flown an FPV drone in Acro mode, this is one of the best tickets to the sport.Pros1) long flight time (up to 8 minutes) is very useful for beginners as most of this time you’ll be walking to pick it up2) it’s built like a tank. I’ve lost count of times I smashed mine into obstacles or ground. It still flies! Unbelievable.3) Besides acro, there are two more forgiving modes. If you’re an absolute beginner, you’ll absolutely appreciate them4) Decent goggles that go over glasses and can record your flight5) Everything is pre-bound and is ready to fly out of the box. Can you put together a better kit from other components? Yes. At this price point? Mmm… Maybe. But the learning curve? You’ll need to know a lot to pull together a similar kit by yourself.6) Good customer support from BetaFPVCons:1) When you get the hang of Acro, you’ll discover Aquila’s limitations. But hey, it’s not a racing drone! It’s an entry level drone that delivers tons of fun and lets you learn FPV. If you begin to feel really limited by Aquicla16, then it has served its purpose and you’re ready to move onto something more serious.2) No buzzer. Would be nice for beginners.3) Camera is good only in good sunlight. Dusk makes it unusable.4) Can’t configure it in BetaFlight. But if you know what BetaFlight is, you’re not a beginner 🙂

a woderful product from a wonderful company
an excellent company with an excellent product. If you’ve never tried fpv before then this is a great way to start. i’d never touched an fpv drone prior to purchasing this kit so my experience is that of a complete beginner. now,a month later i have a meteor 75 pro and just bought a pavo20.i started with a pavo20. i should not have started with a pavo20. i broke it and returned it, i was an idiot. sorry betafpv. i also bought a air65 and broke it but that was not my fault? i returned it with 3 dollars in the box for the broken prop. i hope it was enough? so contrary to what you might read in another review, betafpv has been incredibly forgiving with my returns. i recieved a full and speedy refund on both. i think if you look around a little you’ll find out pretty much everyone in the fpv community loves this company.i do to, now that i know what i’m doing.the aquila, it’s wonderful, it performs beautifully even in difficult conditions and you can’t build anything better for the same amount of money. and most of the things in this kit will continue to be used long after you outgrow the aquila. the lite radio works great on sims.its a great deal. you can’t beat it. looking back now i may have chosen a cetus X,not sure. i’ll buy a cetus for my niece. it took awhile for me to realize what i wanted, betafpv and the aquila 16 helped me figure that out.i appreciate their tolerance of my ignorance and overall i could not be happier.get them while you can!!! air65 is already gone,noooooo. 谢谢 betafpv!

Fun beginner drone.
This was my first drone purchase. It seems like a good learning drone. I picked it up quickly. It is pretty tough. I even crashed it into the pool once. Dried it off well and it kept flying. My only complaint is the video quality. My next drone will definitely have a digital camera. But for the money this was a good overall purchase. Buy an extra pair of batteries they only last about 5 minutes each.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY THIS HAS TONS OF BUGS THEY NEED TO WORK OUT!
This is not even close to a “Beginner” drone.. I’m decently versed now, this is my 3rd drone, I decided to spend a good amount of money on this, I received it today, and of course all the batteries from the controller to the headset and the 2 batts they include, all dead.. I seen to have to run a channel search every time I switch a battery which is a nightmare, and takes some time even to find the video channel it uses, the picture is just horrible it just flickers in and out and a long lag time, it’s like I wasted my money on this because the goggles were the biggest thing I wanted and that was to be able to pilot the drone as if I was inside it’d cockpit and these glasses? Horrible.. they flicker in and out and they do not even come close to keeping up with your controling it, huge lag time, so it makes it almost impossible to use it’s most important feature I bought this for.. I’m very angry, I looked at reviews and YouTube for weeks and got this because it was supposed to be decent but it is absolutely not.. the drone itself is very fast for inside unless you use speed 1, and even in mode 2 its almost impossible to control, it goes up to the ceiling and then smacks down on the floor with even the very slightest of movement in the controller gimbal.. and I do not like the gimbal on the left where it just swings free with no spring at all.. I liked the regular spring back to center I have had in my last 3 drones.. I was so happy and excited only to be completely and totally let down.. and where is this altitude hold??? if the goggles worked correctly it would be fun but you can’t fly this with the goggles, the lag is so far behind your already crashed before you see your moving through the goggles.. I’m am disgusted and very angry I bought this, I should have bought the D brand, I would have got what I paid for, but this is terrible.

Durability is solid
This is the most durable FPV drone I have flown emax is a joke. Beta FPV is the best. I do need a new motor for this drone after flying it through wet grass, but I know thatâs on me. Great drone good for beginners like myself.

Handles well even in the wind
Much better than the smaller one sold by betafpv. Batteries last longer. Handling is better. Goggles are lighter and clearer (that might be my imagination). Was really easy to learn to get good fast. Doesnât fly away in the wind
