Great vacuum!
We love this vacuum! It is lightweight and powerful. It’s easy to charge. We love that it’s cordless and very durable. The trash co trainer fills up pretty quickly. We just empty it after every vacuum, it’s easy to empty. We use it to vacuum the carpet, hardwood floors and tile and it does great on all surfaces. I also love that it changes suction on it’s own when a stronger suction is needed. We are very happy with our buy!

Good price point, good performance, lousy owner’s manual
Looking for a lightvweight stick vac to use between uses with a beast of a canister vac. I have a messy husband and a golden retriever, so married folk and dog lovers can relate. Put everything together and started in (it was not fullycharged, out of the box, so didn’t last long). Fully charged, here’s the scoop: it kind of pulls you along; it will stand upon its’ own; almost fully made of plastic, so you have to be careful what you run over or bump into; it will pick up small debris from the doormat (indoor and outdoor); it is not powerful enough to “eat” the scatter rugs while picking stuff up from them; it’s easy to dump out the dust cup and it holds quite a bit; the dust cup is easily washed and the foam disc pad that goes on top of the cyclonic unit; the unit will charge without replacing the dust cup (which is drying); easy to put together and easy to break down to clean; managed to sweep the entire house on onecharge, but didn’t keep accurate time; the light in front illuminates all the dirt you need to clean up and things you missed. I’d say I like it so far.Some down-sides: the “owner’s manual” is a joke as it is all pictures and warnings. I will visit the B&D website to find out if the plastic cyclonic unit can be washed and exactly how to remove the beater brush. Because it is plastic, I know that I will have to be extra careful when using this, but it is not my main vac, so it won’t be getting the hard use that it does.If you want a good everyday alternative to a broom that will do some extra things, this might be the unit for you. It’s a good price point and since I got mine on a Prime Day sale, it was a bit better. I’m on my second B&D Dustbuster in 15 years, so I think the brand speaks for itselfTWO DAYS LATER: contacted B&D directly with an email about cleaning the cyclonic unit and received a reply the next day. Yes, you can clean the unit. Also found additional foam filters on Amazon for a good price so one can be washed and be drying and another can be popped to keep going until the charge is done..

Great little Vacuum!
I’ve owned this vacuum for about a year and am leaving a review because this is the information I was looking for when choosing to buy it.This is a stellar little vacuum for daily or maintenance cleanings. The battery lasts about 40 minutes and the performance is quite good. I’ve used the Dyson stick vacuums and while not quite as good, for the cost savings this feels like a stellar value.The light makes it easy to see dust and other debris, and so long as you hear the click the vacuum can actually stand upright (unlike the Dyson which loves to fall over). The articulation on the standing attachment foot of the vacuum is great, you can get underneath low sofas and beds really easily, the manuverability is great all around, especially for table legs and corners.It does very well on hard wood floors, decently on tile and well on carpets. It’s not painfully loud, and the auto sensing suction thing seems to work well enough. The sponge filter at the top is easy to clean, as is the canister.I don’t have pets so I can’t speak to its capabilities for fur, but it does a great job of picking up hair and the roller on the bottom is easily removed to dislodge any trapped hairs.My two complaints (though minor) are that I wish the holder had the cable integrated better for storage, and that sometimes gravel can get caught in the spinning wheel and scratch the floor slightly before getting sucked up into the canister.I love using this to clean up things like onion skins in the kitchen or after using a dust mop to corral the dirt to one spot and picking it up with the vacuum along with dust clinging to the mop.If you’re in a small house or apartment this is probably the perfect option. I think if you have pets and kids it might still be a good option for daily maintenance, but will not replace an old fashioned corded vacuum for serious performance.I would buy this instead of a Dyson personally, as I feel that the performance is acceptably comparable and the cost savings are far worthwhile, and am pleased that a year later there are no issues to report after weekly use
