So far so good
I’ve had this installed in my 2015 Forester for about 2 months and it’s worked well so far. I did have it professionally installed but it was worth the money to not have to worry about it. I only use the CarPlay function so I haven’t messed around with the Bluetooth or radio functions too much but they seem to work fine. It’s not high end but it’s a step up from the factory radio. Be warned, Boss may have a bad reputation for some of their products and I had a hard time finding audio installation businesses that would work with this product. I haven’t had an issue with this stereo so far so I can’t speak to that, but I had to call around a bit too find someone who would install this for me, which I found odd. Hopefully it isn’t a sign of things to come. For now, I’m satisfied.

Want a head unit that works and has the features that you need?
Best bang for your buck. This unit has all the bells and whistles I was looking for, and I am glad I bought it. Sounds great using the OEM speakers on a 2009 Nissan Sentra, easy to install, BT pairing was easy, apple play works great, and hands-free calling works too. I highly recommend wiring kits.

Falsely advertised
Ordered this head unit. Install was easy in my 2014 Nissan Frontier. Once installed, the problems appeared. The first problem is that I could not change the color of the LED panel. If you look at the product description, it says you can. I called Boss support and they confirmed the colors could not be changed. The seller should probably update this listing. The second problem was Android Auto. My phone would disconnect all of the time. I tried updating my app, different cables, etc. with no improvement. After some research, Boss isn’t listed with Android as a compatible manufacturer, so that may explain most of of the Android Auto issues. After all of this, I’m returning the radio. I will just continue to use the factory head unit, Bluetooth adapter and phone like I was before.

Bought about 1.5 years ago reverse input not working
Bought the headunit and it honestly works great. Finally got around installing an amp and while doing so installed a reverse camera only to find out the inputs for the rear/front camera don’t work. Plugged it into the av input and works perfect, so I know it’s the headunit.

I was sceptic, but this turned out to be a Great Radio.
Im one of those people who normally leave reviews only when something is wrong. But I was so impressed with this radio, I wanted to share my experience.Im glad I didnt purchase the cheaper model. I have a cheaper model BOSS in my other car. I purchased a new car, and decided to get a better radio, and Im glad I did.The sound quality is so much better than the cheaper model, not to mention the features like car play and such. The screen is finger touch only. No buttons. Its all digital. A stylus wont work, so a screen protector is suggested to keep the fingerprints at bay. The screen is very responsive.I like the radio.

Good sound. Lots of cool features.
Sound is an upgrade over the factory OEM radio. Screen is bright and crisp. Menus are intuitive. I know there are better sound quality radios available but this is pretty good especially at this price point. Integrates with a BOSS rearview camera. Android Auto app is nice too. Pairs nicely with my phone. Hands free calling is pretty sweet too.

Solid so far, great value
The touchscreen is very responsive. Operates more quickly than my pioneer NEX unit. Included wiring harness is labeled very clearly and pre-stripped. Great value! Hopefully it keep working.

Works as it should and touch screen is great! You CAN change the led colors so im not sure what the other reviews are talking about.

We went through 2 of the âcheapâ Chinese brands. Sent both back and went with this one. Still a good price and instantly notice better results. Still early but so far so good. Itâs not âwirelessâ car play is my only gripe.

Sound quality.. just ok…Function.. I add on a wireless adapter it’s work for connect with gps and phone.Overall.. it’s worth the money . No complaints

Had to use my original radioâs screws to get it to fit, but it does! Occasionally the screen goes to black on startup when connecting to Carplay, but pressing the home button and going back to carplay seems to fix it. Only real downside to this radio is that the volume resets every time you turn off the car. Other than that, it fits and works great in my â98 Camry!
