Blown away by the volume!!!
Iâm seriously impressed with this BOSS sound system. I installed it on my 2003 GSX-R1000 and wasnât sure if I could fit four speakers up front, but I managed to get three up there and placed the fourth in the trunk next to my LED controller. Now my lights strobe to the beatâsuper cool effect. The video I posted shows it playing at the lowest volume setting, and itâs still loud. My bike is straight piped, so I was worried I wouldnât hear the music while riding but I can hear it clearly over the exhaust even at 60 mph. At 80+ mph, you can still hear it well, especially if you donât have an extremely loud exhaust. The sound is clean with no distortion at max volume, and the bass hits nicely. I tested it in an open parking lot and could hear it clearly from over 100 feet away. Installation was simple, just connect the power and ground to the battery; the rest is plug-and-play.Bluetooth connects fast, and the volume knob also acts as a power switch. Iâve washed my bike and the speakers held up perfectlyâtheyâre definitely waterproof. Iâve run the system at full volume for over an hour and the amp stayed cool the whole time. The speakers feel solid and durable, and the compact amp (about the size of your palm) is easy to tuck away. Overall, the system looks great and performs even better. Highly recommend this setup wonât disappoint.

Great system works great. Straightforward install
First of all I want to say I am very pleased with this system. The system works well. And is plenty loud enough to hear on the highway. Bass is satisfactory but given that there is no subwoofer there is a limit to the bass. The mounting the speakers is very simple and straightforward. Mounting the amp is trickier since you have to find a safe spot on your bike but then itâs easy too. As far as wiring the system with some basic know how you can do this yourself because paying a shop to do it will get expensive. Think double to triple what the system cost to buy the system. If you are going to install yourself some things to know:First if you want to wire it directly into the battery you will need a rocker on off switch if not youâll need to know where you can find a wire that is only love when the key is on. I personally wired mine to my headlight wiring at the battery.Second you may need to extend the wires depending on your vehicleâs size I personally added a foot to give me some slack on the wires. This means you may need to buy wiring and tools to link the wires.Third you will want some kind of zip or cable ties to keep the wires running neatly.Fourth you will want to be familiar with your vehicle. I have a Honda Shadow 750 I mounted this on and the best way to wire a bike is following other cables on the bike which means going under the tank. Typically this is simple and it sounds a lot harder than it is.Fifth this is not a tool free install you need a wrench to tighten the speaker nuts and any tools you need to get to your battery and wherever you want run the wires.Last donât get discouraged. This is not a hard install just donât expect to just plug in and go this will probably take you a couple hours to do right. But itâs worth it. Also there is a video on YouTube where a guy installs this exact system that may give you an idea

Almost perfect but still very much worth it
Sound Quality: I am loving the speakers. I own a HD Breakout with open pipes, no windshield and up to 70mph I can still hear the music. Of course that the sound quality decreases due to wind noise and when I throttle up but it is expected.Con: The installation brackets cannot be removed unless you detach the connection plug and it can damage the product. The kit should come with at least 3 different bracket sizes and they should be easily released from the wiring.Waterproof: So far no issues with that. Works perfectly.Volume toggle: not the best. Boss should develop a wireless control for the system. I went online and bought one for my phone. Fixed it on the handlebar and it works flawlessly.Installation: theyâre fairly easy to install. Iâve managed to fit the amp Underneath the seat and it worked great. Youâll have to check the screw nuts once in a while for they become lose as you ride due to bike vibration. Only the brackets that were a little bit short for the handlebar so the nuts barely touched the screws forcing me to bend the brackets a little bit and I couldnât use any of the rubber protectors, used a black duct tape.Price: Great speaker for the price. I had a GoHawk Halo before and thereâs no comparison between those two. Strongly recommend the poduct.Hope it helps.

Right out of the box, the speakers are heavy and solid. All the wiring is there with quick connects and labels on everything. I had to splice every wire to make this work on my cart, but that is not the manufacturer’s fault. This was the first stereo I have wired, and even with the cutting and splicing of wires, this was a relative breeze. I spent about 5 hours putting this all in, with 2 hours of that just making sure I was doing stuff right. I wired everything to a switch and back to the amp. Again, never done this before, but nothing to it!!4 speakers are pretty loud. Half volume on the knob is easily enough to overpower the 39 year old 2 stroke engine. 3/4 volume and you can’t hear your passenger. I am sure I will be heard right across the whole course if I wanted to be.There is not a whole lot of bass, but it is a 3″ speaker so it won’t be breaking any spl records. The music is clear. It goes loud and still stays acceptabley distortion free. There was a little bit of background noise through the bluetooth connection that was not as noticeable with the wired aux port. This thing picked up the bluetooth on my phone within seconds of me first turning the power on. I literally did nothing and my phone was connected.I would recommend this to anyone looking for a decent sounding, budget friendly stereo system. I am sorry I looked at so many different products all summer when I just should have ordered this all along. I will be ordering a second set for another cart I have.

Wring this review after 3 (or over) years of use in rain, sun and cold and after having been to washing station many times.- Not the best bass and clarity. Just regular decent-ish.- Not the best or many controls. Just one analog volume toggle.- Not very impressive. Just fine.A minimal but very very sturdy 4 speaker bluetooth system which refuses to die and is as consistent with its sound quality as on the first day of use. Can’t say this for a lot of electronic gadgets out there these days.
